"Best Editor For Web Application Development"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is a free editor with a lot of cool features. Back End development is so easy on this editor. Plugins and extensions can directly be installed on it for Back end development. It has a good user interface and it is easy to use. It has built in Git and the code is very readable in it. It is highly customizable, and it is updated with new features on a regular basis and it also has nice debugging features which makes it the best editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It uses a lot of resources of my computer. It should be optimized to work on low-end PC''s smoothly. It is mainly used for Back-End Development and it must be also be optimised for Front-End Development as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code - It keeps getting better. "
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The ever growing set of plugins really makes using VSCode a blast,

The interface offers great customization (although not fully) but given the purpose of the software and the ability to change color schemes, add plugins for Syntax, and more it is still on-par with most other IDEs'. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes, it feels like the sidebar is too large and clunky - maybe using smaller icons for explorer, search, debug, and extensions would make the sidebar feel less "in-the-way". Don't get me wrong these are all very important parts of the UI (and maybe that's just my opinion) but I'd prefer those icons to be smaller. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Text Editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It is one of the best editors out there. Amazing ease of use, large plugins library, and good key shortcuts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Not much. This editor is quite great for what it is supposed to do. My only quirk is the Microsoft telemetry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Visual Studio Code Review"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code works on macOS, Linux, and Windows Operating System. It's a way that Apple users can now work on a Microsoft Editing tool.

Searching for extensions including the third party extensions and adding them is very easy. Support for javascript frameworks like node js, angular js, TypeScript. It has a built-in intellisens and also supports for debugging. One can build cross-platform web pages. Color themes are also an added feature of this Editor. It's Free to download and supports open source control Git. Supports multiple split window feature. Command pallet that allows instant access to popular VS Code component. It's fast and lightweight. MacOS users don't have to partition their hard drives and install windows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It's not an IDE like visual studio which has many more features and languages support. It's mostly a light weighted text editing tool. Lacs most features of a full IDE. It lac features compared to other editing tools in the market like Sublime text. Its slow with large files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Fun and Easy to Use Cross-Platform Editor by Microsoft"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

How fast it is for the features it packs, elegant looks with visual-styles, and easy and fun to use. The shortcuts are very similar to sublime and the support for GIT repos is excellent. Oh and I missed the best part - its free and works on all platforms! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I don't like the variety and number of extensions it offers compared to other established text editors such as Sublime Text and Atom but this is relatively new so it has a ways to go before it gets that kind of developer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
