"Product Review"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

1. I like the fact that you don't have to open a separate terminal for your npm packages and git repos cause it's already built-in.

2. It already comes with the Emmet plugins for fast shortcut coding and you can install more cool things that you haven't tried yet.

3. The endless possibilities of using different themes and colors, for your visual preferences.

4. Linting is gold, finding bugs and errors is easier than ever.

5. The support is second to none. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Many feature means much more resource needed. They are implementing often new feature, I hope this will not land to too much resource needed that is one of my favourite thign using an editor instead of a full featured IDE, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best IDE available on the market. Fantastic, flexible, and economical development option."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

As a programmer with several years of experience, I can say that I like this application and I love that it can predict the code being written, which makes the work much easier and faster. I like the ease of use and the ability to open a complete folder, so I can see all the files I need to modify. Its most powerful effect is organizing the project file hierarchically so that it is easy to see in detail. It has a beautiful dark theme with support for other themes. This is my favorite editor and that of my colleagues at the company. I use it frequently, as it is simpler and more comfortable to do all the editing and it is very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

What I dislike is that some customizations can be a bit difficult to set up correctly and that it might be a little complex for a new user. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about or dislike, because my overall experience has been really professional, good, and productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code is the king of the industry"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The interface is simple, typical of Microsoft and is available on all platforms, such as Linux, Windows and MacOS. It has excellent coding features and autocomplete functions. In addition, it has a great integration with GitHub, which makes it a very complete editor and provides more comfort. I also like it to be very light and to update frequently. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes it was a bit difficult to find errors in the syntax and I also had some problems with the debugger, because it had a slightly confusing configuration, however, the great community of users that Visual Studio Code has, helped me solve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I wish that visual code made it easier to work with files over ssh. current solution is to work with sshfs but it regularly goes out of sync. also working with virtual environment that are not in the root directory requires manual configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

visual studio core is a sophisticated text editor that allows multiple functionalities and own features was created by microsoft and also its development is based on being multiplatform since it works correctly in both windows and linux, it also supports several programming languages since this Not only does C # and VB support Windows programming languages, but it also gives way to these Java, Go, C, C ++, Ruby, Python, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, Groovy, Swift, PowerShell, Rust, programming packages. DockerFile, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, Lua, F #, Batch, SQL, Objective-C. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

This is a text editor that is not usually all that is said about it, but to use it in certain systems as it says that it is cross-platform, it is not at all since in the ubuntu operating system it is a bit green so to speak and which is not open source either because it talks about being proprietary software and this point is not very clear. "My views on Visual Studio Code."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I am using Visual Studio more than 3 years. Its various feature, compatibility and light weight makes Visual Studio better than other IDE's. Following feature i found useful in Visual Studio:

1. Beautiful and innovative user interface - everything is on fingertip from debugger to version control.

2. Comes with specific setting for work-space and entire IDE differently.

3. Version control is easy.

4. Debugging : Various options available for debugging like conditional breakpoints, column breakpoints.

5. Shortcuts : short keys or hot keys really helps a lot and VSCode is full of hot keys.

6. Rich community : lot of packages and extensions are available for various programming languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I have used VSCode for a long time there are some minor issue which you can easily ignore considering it comes Open source (free) with rich community backing it.

Some of the issue which i found annoying:

1. Inbuilt console: if your code stuck for some logic issue then you have to restart VSCode again.

2. Two different setting option is good but sometime its time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, quick and simple text and code editor with some program integration"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The first thing that struck me was how quickly it opens. Then I first saw the interface, which is made up 90% by text. On the right you can find a custom scrollbar which shows a miniature version of the entire document plus an indicator next to it to show which line is selected. You can quickly go from part to part of the document through the miniature. On the language side, it supports many programming and markup languages, automatically recognizing them when you open a file. It also has dynamic word completion which suggests what you need most of the time. You can also use its flexible tab feature and you can also open files side by side to work on both at the same time. Another bonus is the fact that you can make it work as an IDE in programs like Unity3D (and Mono included with Unity3D acts as the compiler). To list one last feature (there are too many to list them all), there's also a plugin support with a dedicated free plugin store for any extra needs. This is the most user friendly text and code editing program I have ever used so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes the auto complete feature is invasive. I would also like if the program had a spell check feature in multiple languages as I find myself having to use it to translate webpages in the .html file itself Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
