"VSCode, most popular editor among developer."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VSCode is minimal yet super powerful and free and open source. The user interface is good as each tab in it is useful.

1. File management :- Work space management is quite easy, you can even set a separate setting for work space and user space. Which means if any specific work space related feature you require which you don't want other projects (work space) gets affected then you do those kind of setting in work-space setting.

2. In build Git integration so that you don't have to integrate any library or package to do so.

3. Debugging in VSCode is very easy and yet complex in stating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

VSCode don't provide feature of remote debugging, which sometime is great help. VSCode feels sometime heavier compare to other text editors like Notepad++.As it is integrated with large number of plugins it takes time to load but after once started it feels normal. "Full Stack Development with Visual Code Studio"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I love Visual code studio because it has extensions that are developed by the community. From a full Stack Developer, I can install snippets for Javascript, React, and Node Js to make prototyping applications alot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I dislike that, if you have too many extensions running at the same time. It could cause the extension host to restart or crash. Which means you'll have to close out of your workspace and restart it all over again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A lightweight test powerful and versatile IDE"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Built on top of V8, it launches fast and is able to take advantage of an engine that is constantly being optimized by google.

The concept of 'empty' to start, then you pick the extensions you actually need make for a very fast editor. And the open source, JS extensions mean they are easy to add, so there is a large library of them for whatever need you have. The hot-key navigations feel very fast and intuitive.

Overall, I feel my development speed has improved just by switching to this IDE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Has some shortcomings with our backend language (C#), seems to link things together a bit slower, but this is likely an issue with the Omnisharp engine instead of VS Code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
