"Very versatile code editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

There is a very active community for Visual Studio Code; You can find a plugin for almost everything to add features as you need. Thanks to it being a very common code editor, it will probably also stay on the market for a long time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The battery and ram usage of VS Code is very bad. I would recommend plugging in your device when using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What is Visual Studio Code, what is not?"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Being completely open source and free, being platform independent (Windows, Linux, Mac) are the first and most known pros.

The things that can be added to these are its speed and ease of use. Although I have been using it recently, I don't remember it crashing even once. In addition, it opens and closes very quickly even in large-scale projects.

Another very important plus and strength of VS Code is git integration.

Having a handy terminal with VS Code internal terminal makes it advantageous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The plugins we installed for some programming languages are not enough. Either the compiler is confused, there are many suggestions or wrong suggestions. It may be necessary to remove all of them and start cleanly from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VSCode is a lightweight, cross-platform editor with a wide variety of extensions."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

To start, what I like most about Visual Studio Code is that it is cross-platform software. I can run it on Windows and Linux, and the support for plugins is the same. I can say that it is lightweight software and uses few resources. I also like its error-checking tool, especially for HTML and CSS. Another feature that is very helpful to me is that I can use the Git command terminal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I really have nothing negative to say about this software. Visual Studio Code is an open-source platform and has all the functionalities I need for my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scalable and customisable solution for your team!"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VS technology that will configure the apps and add-ons with our own designs. IntelliSense is among VS code's most handy function. IntelliScene is much more than mere auto completion and phrase lighting. Help of all kinds of plugins to this text editor renders the program like an IDE. Most incredible function I like is the "Integrated-in Git" that supports me in preciously identifying the changes I've created. The program is swift and the UI is developer-friendly so I still feel relaxed when using this and the interface is very great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I was also unable to find plugins needed when I began with VS code and when the keystrokes rises the main output decrease encountered by me. As compared to other software VS code efficiency is generally weak. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The aspect I appreciate most about Visual Studio is that it's very simple to use even if you don't get used to it yet, learning Visual Studio requires a very short time. This will support practically every application on which you function. It often includes a focus on the grammar for every phrase. Visual Studio is definitely what small companies will use because it is both inexpensive and user friendly. I suggest Visual Studio to everyone 100 per cent. Visual Studio is user friendly and if people don't understand the app, I urge them to keep trying. Visual Studio is a really successful tool for creating code, because it illustrates syntax and embraces a few languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The impossibility of opening two projects is quite annoying Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
