"Best IDE Ever!"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

So light and flexible IDE.

I like the flexibility of VS Code as it can be configured with respect to any programming language and gives alot of helper extensions for helping in development, and managing it.

I like the Liveshare extension, intellisense for any language extensions, Vim extension, git, and many more.

Also the integrated terminal of VS code is amazing.

There are n number of extensions available for vs code and they all work in windows, max and linux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There is nothing to dislike as now the support for JAVA has also arrived in vs code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Basically the standard from frontend development"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VSC quickly became the standard for frontend development (and probably other areas as well). Very easy to use, relatively lightweight and the number of extensions really make this the leader. It works on all major platforms with excellent integration with Git, GraphQL etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Even though it's pretty lightweight, if you have too many editors open (like 5+) it can start to drag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best coding environment"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The easiness to use and the broad support, where it is the most widely used environment; so it has a massive community which helps in creating a lot of valuable plugins, which also leads to the continuous support from the creator (Microsoft) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It sometimes feels that visual studio is heavy, where the use of some plugins would affect the responsiveness of the whole environment, and running multiple instances of the code editor would also lead to the unresponsiveness of your machine sometimes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
