Recommendations to others considering Visual Studio Code:

It would be best if you tried once. Use its custom settings and Extension Packages. VS Code is perfect for those who need a little more than other text editors.

VS Code is also perfect for web developers as they are more likely to be working within different programming environments at the same time. With VS Code, it is possible to organize all of your code (JS, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.) all in a single window by using its docking features. It is also free so that smaller businesses can benefit from no upfront licensing costs. There is, however, a bit of a learning curve for those interested in making use of its extensive library to add functionality.

It is also easier to debug the code.

Now its also supports java. Which I think a great benifit.

I also use it for hybrid mobile app like IONIC.

What problems is Visual Studio Code solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mostly typescript and Java. Its extensions and custom settings have their benefits. I mostly use it for Web Development.
