"VS Code. Best Experience"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

There are several code editors a developer can use, but I would recommend VS code because of its in-build terminal and fantastic user interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There are many extensions that a developer has to install to make code more efficient, and that extensions might be large, so this may be a significant disadvantage, also vs. code takes more space as compared to other code editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use many code editors, but the best part of Visual Studio Code is its powerful extension, and it also provides sync user setting and extension, i loved this feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes Visual Studio Code takes lots of time to initialize extensions. I think the Visual Studio Code team needs to work on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best code editor out there, solving all technological business needs."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

There are many aspects of Visual Studio Code that I like best. The customizability allows the developer to feel comfortable within the software, spending long hours in it. Also, I like that there is compatibility with many technologies, all available through installing extensions from the marketplace. This code editor is also relatively light weight compared to others I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The one thing I dislike with Visual Studio Code is the ability to develop full-fledged Java applications. The support provided is not as good as other Java editors such as Eclipse or IntelliJIDEA. Specifically, the way packages are created and set up could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It was a seemless coding experience working with visual studio code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The plugins provided by vsc makes almost any task in coding to be completed and it is one of the lightest tool I have worked in and the features to run each of the testcase seperately and compare the changes makes it easy to maintain code quality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The UI can be made little user friendly which makes it easy to use and the difference in commits are sometimes unable to view in few cases which can be reviewed Some of the plugins makes the vs code slower sometimes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VS code is very easy to use. It helps a person to write a code in a proper format. Moreover, it automatically finds bracket-matching and a lot of short keys are available even live sever and many extensions are also available which saves the time of a person. I recommend this software to every programmer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Although VS code does not have many cons however it is not preferred to use by the university, it is not so popular as it is newly available. Moreover, it takes quite extra time for a new programmer to apply the shortcut and understand the platform. Another dislike is due to the automatic features sometimes it generates an error. "The only code editor that I use anymore!"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The ease of integrations, plugins, extensions, etc is just amazing. Compared to others I was using before (Sublime, Atom, etc) it feels like everything I need is right in the editor and I don't have to leave it in order to do my job. Version control tooling is so nice, the integrated terminal is easy to pull up with a quick keyboard shortcut. I can't picture working any other way now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Nothing really. The openess and flexibility means I can pretty much customize it to whatever I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
