"My Favorite IDE"

What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

As a code editor it has all the bells and whistles. As an IDE it is, in my experience, the most powerful while using the fewest system resources. It's a lot like Atom, but somehow just a little better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I use this tool primarily for my Python programs for Data Science and sometimes for webs (HTML, C#, JS) as well, and its business intelligence helps me from the day I started learning/working on these technologies. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I have been in several different roles with many different responsibilities in each one, but for each one, I have used VS Code in some capacity. It can automatically detect a variety of languages, and for those that weren't already built-in, I was able to find plugins. The syntax highlighting is very helpful when writing code.
