"Visual Studio Code Review"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I like the ease with which I can set up VS code. It is faster than the standard Visual studio code. There are many third-party extensions available for use in VS code which is excellent and helps perform the tasks more efficiently. I also like its interface and love the dark mode. Overall, VS code is a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The debugging mode could be improved a bit. Other than that, everything looks fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very handy IDE. Love that it supports any language."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I like being able to use it for various languages. You can download multiple extensions to make your life easier. For example, if you need to write in C++ you can simply enable the extension that supports IntelliSense and debug tools. I also love the integrated Terminal :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes it is very slow to load and seems like it takes a lot of memory. When I run python projects, it initially fails once or twice and then launches. I also found setting up some plugins difficult with this IDE. Further, I really like the concept of the extension, but sometimes it feels like there are a lot of duplicates and too much to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All in One IDE for all languages"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

If you are looking for all in one IDE for all the languages, then Visual Studio is the best option. Most of the time visual studio code is used for langauges HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and TypeScript. Other than this the community support of visual studio code is great. VS code is available for all type of computer OS like Windows, Linux base OS, MacOs etc. Visual code has thousands of extentions for different languages. Visual studio has a user friendly interface and so that it very easy to use for all the user. It is highly custmizable so all user can custmize acording to there needs. Also VS code has it's inbuilt terminal so you don't have to open any seperate terminals to run any projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There is some disadvantage of Visual studio code as it gives us many features for all languages and many extantions it uses more amount of computer RAM and more amount of you computer CPU. So because of that, you feel your PC is very slow, and sometimes it not responding when you open more number of projects in a different window of visual studio. "Visually appealing Code Editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It is probably the best IDE for Javascript, because it has, a terminal, so you can use it for Node. js, there are so many packages for previewing HTML, and has a good debugger. For another language like C# it's good too because it has the extension dedicated for C#. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Many fragmented plugins (you need to download parts), many low-quality plugins, many paid plugins with very expensive prices. Other than this, all is good as there are many versatile plugins for different needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Visual Studio Code Review | One of the best IDEs for cross-platform code-editing"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I recently came across this beautiful Visual Studio Code software developed by Microsoft for Windows, Linux, and macOS. I downloaded the version for Windows as I needed a platform for reviewing, editing, and modifying my Python notebooks. It provides a nice view of the code with different color schemes for different types of codes. It has a beautiful interface with easy navigational options. Plenty of help is also available so the user does not have to go through tutorials on the internet to learn how to run this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

While using the software, I found that the software does not allow accessing files from One Drive. It was only showing the standard hard drive locations but not the cloud drives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
