"Overall great IDE with some improvements possible for integrations"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The UI is very clean and I do like that it is customizable. There are features that allow you easier formatting and finding of important details. I also like the internal terminal and that you can open it in any directory from terminal. There are also many integrations that make it more customizable and better to use. Overall, great product and lightweight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The integrations are helpful but some (that are even made by Microsoft) are laggy or have some disconnect when working with them or just don't work at all. It would be great if they were refined and quality tested more before releasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can use a lot of key bindings and also integrate VIM in visual studio code, the best part of Visual studio code is the marketplace, Thousands of great extensions, and sometimes it makes it easier to set up a project like a flutter in VS code. The only thing I can say is Everything is available in VS code for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There is nothing to say about dislikeness, but the application is built on Electron, so that's why it takes few amounts of ram and makes it slower in older devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

vscode is having lots of extensions.

remote access is possible, which makes coding easier on vm.

it's very lightweight, so the experience is outstanding.

plugins are easy to integrate.

a good amount of resources available for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There isn't much to dislike about VSCode, but the latest version of VSCode is a bit complex compared to previous versions, so I prefer versions other than the latest one. As in previous versions, the folder structure is a bit nicer, and the footer consists of appropriate information. So that kind of format was much better to use for me.
