"My Days with VS code and How its the best"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio code gives a new user a minimal look and starts, which is very good and clean. The pure nature helps to attract tidy users and makes working with the IDE a lot more enjoyable. The IDE provides extensions by which the whole IDE is customizable. Hence, the sky is the limit for the customization, which is excellent as most IDE's don't even look for those types of customer satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It doesn't set you up to code in your desired language. You still have to deal with that frustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VSCode Still Dominates"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VSCode has proven to be very customizable and once you have the system set up to your preferences it turns to be very easy to use. In addition to this opening up, multiple tabs for your coding preferences helps keep everything tidy and visible at all time thanks to their split-window ability in multiple formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

When you first begin using VSCode, coming from anything simpler, there is a steep learning curve that can be daunting. The sheer amount of options and settings to customize can lead to some confusion for newer users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Even if I install the php plugin in visual studio code, I cannot go to the function definition by ctrl+click on the function call. That should be present in VS Code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VS Code: Lite and powerful"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

As a developer while writing the code I prefer the best and fast responsive tool for developing. Unlike visual studio, visual studio code is powerful as well as very light to use as well as highly responsive while working with the code due to its fastest response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The only thing I might dislike is managing the libraries and packages which is not well organised and user friendly compared to visual studio 2017/2019 along with poor source control user interface compared to visual studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-In-One robust development tool"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Some plus points which I really admire about MS Code are :

1. Code has a very convenient and easy-to-use UI/UX. A system with any hardware speciations can run this software with all its optimum features intact.

2. I have being a developer for almost 2-3 years, and I understand how important it is to get your code connected with git. Code provides me an easy integration of my code to git, which ultimately helps me a lot.

3. Code provides me with the feasibility to install multiple types of plugins and make my coding efforts minimal.

4. It has a very uncomplicated process of installation which I think helps a lot when being in the early stages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Despite all these positives, there are some negatives which can be mentioned here :

1. One improvisation which I want Code to indulge in its software shall be the integration of Web API testing.

2. Some options are missing on debugging when we compare code with visual studio.

3. Visual Studio Code should include a screen/option for package management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
