I honestly do not know how in the past it was conceivable to track inventory levels in several stores with local updates. However, now it easy and I can do that. Having a Shopify extending functionality into my operations creates a unified sales process online. **What do you dislike about Thrive Inventory?** The reporting capability of Thrive by Shopventory still has a lot of room for improvement. They look like a good idea, but turn out to be clumsy and unnatural. Creating the data reports that I have to use to figure out sales patterns or identify low-inventory items large wastes time. **What problems is Thrive Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am managed better to go deeper into my inventory by Shopventory than ever before. The capability of tracking the number of items that are within my physical shop as well as the online shop has helped in elimination of stockouts and has increased customer satisfaction. ### 2. It's very robust for cost analysis, movement of items, and the premade reports are exceptional. **What do you dislike about Thrive Inventory?** The free version has ALMOST everything I need - the reporting is limited, so if I forget to run a month-end inventory report, I can't go back and do it later. And the first tier for the paid version is WAY more than I need and is totally out of my budget (especially since there are so many features that would go unused). I wish there was an in-between tier- I would totally be willing to pay a monthly fee to be able to run the reports I need. **What problems is Thrive Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shopventory allows me to update my inventory from the website or through square POS. It syncs up pretty quickly too, so I can always see my on-hand from anywhere. The tracking and reporting options keep me on top of what I have. I haven't tried the new kit feature, but as I sell supplies as well as finished goods, I think this is going to be a game changer for tracking the materials I have tied up in those items. ### 6. I am left pleasantly surprised each time I use a feature I didn't know about. Recently we added a new location, I used the duplication feature, so all stock came over from the primary location. The support is 11/10 yes, I said 11. Alejandro has helped me on multiple occasions, as well as other staff. They will print screen/record their screen and get you to the destination you're looking for. **What do you dislike about Thrive Inventory?** Because its app-based, you cannot open up multiple browsers, some times I would like to open up multiple products at once in different tabs (just my habit I guess) **What problems is Thrive Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Stock control, in particular when selling stock in bundles. This helps a lot, as it does the job automatically. The only part you need to spend some time initially is getting your numbers right when inputting stock the first time - after that Shopventory takes away the hassle. ### 7. Unlike other solutions we've tried in the past, Shopventory seems to have itself together. Our inventory numbers thus far have beein consistently accurate. **What do you dislike about Thrive Inventory?** Setup was easy until it wasn't, and then it became a nightmare. It could be just my experience, but after all of my products were imported to Shopventory, I noticed that I was receiving an error every time I tried to update a product. Images, product descriptions, quantities, nothing was syncing, so I reached out to customer service as they had been helpful with setup. When the first tier of customer service couldn't figure out the issue, the team escalated the issue to the engineers. After not hearing back, I reached out to customer service for an update and was told that once a trouble ticket escalates to the engineers, there's nothing to do but wait. There is literally no timeframe available as to when the team might address an issue. After losing two weeks to this issue, I found the resolution; Shopventory had pulled products in as variants. Since variants did not exist, deleting variants in Shopventory fixed the problem. After my issue escalated to the engineers, I felt ignored and in the dark for two weeks. That's something Shopventory needs to address. **What problems is Thrive Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shopventory is the master of inventory between my website and the point of sale in our brick and mortar. When we sell an item in-store, Shopventory records that sale and reports the new quantity to our website, which prevents overselling. We also use Shopventory to bundle or kit products. ### 8. We were able to import almost every Item from an excel sheet, in a matter of no time. On some items there had to be made some minor adjustments, but it really went better than expected. It is also quite easy to maintain the item database and further improve them. There is the possibility for custom fields in order to add information that is perhaps specific to your kind of business. Otherwise I have to say that it is really userfriendly and empoyees do not need a lot of time to be learnt in. **What do you dislike about Thrive Inventory?** The reporting system is perhaps their weak point. It is quite challenging to create customized reports and filtering the needed data. But they are constantly improving and I see that they are aware of this minor issue and are trying to get better. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Inventory:** There is a test version available, and if you encounter problems then you should contact the customer service and they will help you out. **What problems is Thrive Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Shopventory to keep track of our inventory, in order to make sure we are ordering the right amounts at the right time and even more important that we are able to fullfill most of our customer orders. We also cannot use the variants feature and often have to enter mutilple duplicate items - this should not be a paid add on, but included in the price for convenience/efficiency of your product . **What problems is Thrive Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have solved the issue of tracking and sales reports for purchased items on our gift shops.
