I can find items quickly to put into a space, and the ability to cut, paste, and merge is very handy. Certain drawings and diagrams work very well, and being able to lock them down so others can't change them is a big plus. The ease of use really saves me time and makes it efficient to open up documents, change them, add things, and send them to others to use. There's a little bit of confusion with saving features like the sizes of assets. It's kind of buggy, where it doesn't always translate well. The saving process is confusing, and I've accidentally saved over files, but the smartdraw team was eager to help and once i got past the learning curve, it's been very smooth. I like that SmartDraw is priced, honestly. AutoCAD is hundreds/thousands of dollars, and SmartDraw is a fraction of that price while fulfilling my need. There are certain parts of the program that do not work if something else isn't enabled, and sometimes that seems buggy. It's not obvious what is blocking the feature from being enabled.
