## SC Training (Formerly EdApp) Reviews
  ### 1. VERY limited, but good at what they do.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Customer service is about a 6 out of 10. That means they are pretty good. The app is intuitive for some tasks. It's easy to set up some tasks, depending on what you are attempting. It does an okay job of importing and converting your Powerpoint presentations into learning aids, once you learn how to set up your Power points.. and go back and reconfigure them to work with the program. Once you configure, the presentations look good when moving from one platform to another (phone, tablet, computer). The idea of mobile first appeals and the program is set up with a microlearning focus, which I like. It's relatively easy to set up quizzes from excel spreadsheet, but then you can't edit afterwards and can't add things like diagrams, because who needs diagrams, right?

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

What I don't like is all the emojis when responding and limited knowledge of some of the agents. They are a little too personable. And it is weird that the females have a picture and the males don't. Just do away with the pictures, please. The app is only good if you are willing to do things the way THEY think you should do them. Whoever creates and maintains the app seems to be very sure they know what's best and don't seem interested in making changes. The exhaustive list of what I don't like is too long to list here, but ... No diagrams in quizzes...Can't require a correct answer before moving on in a presentation.. When importing from Powerpoint, can't change the type of theme of a page, you get what is assigned. There is a steep learning curve to get real functionality out of the program. Can't import video or audio from your powerpoint. This cost me lots of time and effort to redo much of the work already done. Turn off your give a shit meter about depth of functionality and eventually, you can get things done. Oh and some of their people are complete tools. The guy who gave me my demo brought one of his customers to the meeting because he "thought" we worked for the same company. Really, just seemed lost.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microlearning for techs in the field. Quick lessons, without much depth.

  ### 2. EdApp - Great Free LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Collin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2025

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The best thing about EdApp is that it is free. They also have a course library that you can import from and almost all courses are editable. We have been using EdApp for over a year now and have not paid a dime, yet it is a highly functional, intuitive, seamless, and reliable LMS service. It also has great analytics tracking, making compliance a breeze.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Some things are not in the free plan. Which is OK, because I enjoy making the modules from scratch if I cannot find the content in their course library.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we had been tracking trainings on Excel and conducting them via PowerPoint in Teams meetings. This was a non-self-paced method with poor tracking capabilities and no way to check for comprehension. EdApp has solved all of those headaches. Their support is also amazing and responds rapidly and effectively. One time, I had a font issue and needed an outline around white lettering. Their support crafted code for me to put in the modules that added this outline to all the text! And we are on the free plan!

  ### 3. EdApp is amazing and the perfect microlearning solution for our higher education learners.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pam S. | CEO and Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

It is extremely easy to create courses, particularly now with the AI features. The templates offer variety, but it is not overwelcoming. Our learners love the visuals and modern feel of the mobile app. Overwhelmingly - it is is easy to use and impactful for learning.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There are a few tricks to link to outside resources. You also must be very sharp about any video content because the size requirements are strict. We have made this work but you have to be very thoughtful in course content creation.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Higher education career and professional development is facing significant challenges engaging students, particularly Gen Z. There is a lot of long form content, workshops that are unstructured, and difficulty matching student schedules/needs with offerings. We are working to introduce microlearning as a solution and to collaborate to tackle this challenge, with the aim to drive better career outcomes and meaningful work for recent graduates.

  ### 4. EdApp as LMS for Medium Agency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paige D. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is user friendly and has flexibility in the set-up of training.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

It doesn't track staff's training records as accurate as we would like.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a CARF accredited agency so we are required to train all staff on certain tasks. EdApp makes this easy with one central place for all training.

  ### 5. Working with Gen Z`s

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison Clare G. | Training Manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is one of the best tools I have used in my capacity as a Training Manager. The ease of usage is great, the support in place is fantastic, moreover,in my opinion working with these Gen Z`s has been very rewarding.
Where the teacher becomes the learner, very progresive.
The Staff listen and work with you, feedback is well recieved.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

When I have a bulk induction day, the time to Transfer completions to my LMS can be lengthy.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in such a transient industry, qulaifications are becoming less relevant for many reasons, having the opportunity to refresh/ educate and set expectations for our businesess has been our focus and it is paying off.
Recently we have had Two government inspections and passed with flying colours as our staff were confident in answering questions.

  ### 6. Excellent app and it's free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Perbinder S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Easy to edit and use
Really impressed.
Was worried about the way they do the pricing but so far using the free plan.
Easy drag and drop.
Customer support has been quick - they are on as I was still typing!
They were excellent and showed me videos on how to do certain things.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Pricing is not transparent and really should be better labelled.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Course authorship

  ### 7. Amazing GUI, Smart AI and Personalization all in One!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Ease of use is superb. EdApp knows what I'm trying to accomplish before I do. There is a great starting library of learning, as well as the AI creation tool. You can personalize all three methods of learning creation. You can track students and grades easily and efficiently. This is just an absolute WOW of a learning app!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Only downside - it is not integrated with anything, that I can see. I would love to integrate to Google Classrooms.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp is helping me cover a part of the workforce that does not already have training protocol. I can create and personalize content in any of three ways, distribute to staff and track completion.

  ### 8. Convenient and engaging!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp became our super convenient solution for a compliance course needed for staff. It was daunting for me to think of drafting all of the material from scratch and creating a graphically engaging course from which our employees would actually learn and retain important info. A quick google search landed me on EdApp. The website explained the product clearly and succinctly, and also made tailoring its already compliant content to our specific company easy. The courses are simple for employees to access, and I have a 100% completion rate - no chasing anyone down. The analytics make it easy to see where the areas for improvement need to be with staff. For the next round of courses, I'll start using the fun engagement incentives they offer as well. Their tech support was responsive and knowledgable - which sold me from the start. Oh, and so much can be done with this app within the free account - EdApp is generous with that! New, relevant courses are being added frequently as well. I highly recommend EdApp for your teams!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I don't have much to recommend for improvement, except for setting arrival dates for unreleased courses that have been advertised. For example, I received an email notification that Sexual Harrassment courses specific to your US state were coming soon. I am in need of creating a course on this topic very soon, and state specific content would be fantastic to have! Unfortunately, when I reached out to Support, they said they have no idea when it would be released - next week, month, year. No idea. So having projected dates would be helpful in the future.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problems of creating and disseminating valuable content in a convenient and compliant way. This benefits us in having a safer work environment, and learning about how to in an engaging and fun way.

  ### 9. Easy access to great information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

What I like about EdApp is that I can find information on most any industry of my interest. It is broken up into small parts, which makes it easy to digest information learned.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Honestly, I haven't come across any downside of using EdApp. It's a great tool that I can access from anywhere. I can share the information with my team and they can work on any subject on their own time.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently took an in person course on a particular subject. The course, although informative, I wondered if there was more I could learn. Using EdApp, I have discovered that there is more information relevant to the subject of my interest. I will now have more knowledge to do the best job in the field.

  ### 10. LMS solution for your training

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

More layouts are required.
Not very much options to modify templates easily.
Graphics and text incorporation could be better.
Help section could be more better.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helpful in reducing the paper work, more interactive learning and convenient to use. Mobile supported software. and its free so anyone can use it anywhere any time.
Tracks the record of the learner.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

honestly there is no downside to ed app.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hippa and OSHA Compliance

  ### 13. Amazing app!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

One of the things I love about EdApp is how easy it is to develop a new course. Another thing that I love about it is the support they give, in a matter in minutes you can solve any question with a real human being.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The only thing that I think they could improve is how some of their windows sometimes appear to be low res on my screen. I will try to take a screenshot and share it with the team.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us develop microlearning courses that allow healthcare professionals to study and learn in small bits of time. Sometimes this is the only opportunity they have.

  ### 14. Very user friendly, easy to use and does exactly what it says.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Easy to use
Make courses very quickly
Loads of different templates that can be used
Their live chat is birlliant and help is always at hand. Never dissappointed by their team.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Because it's easy to use and is template based there are certain restrictions. For example you can't do complex animations between slides.

The image sizes are different for different templates and is a bit of hassle to keep changing the sizes of images according to the type used.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us provide short impactful courses on demand and very quickly. This is important for us as it allows us to be agile to business needs.
It's mobile first approach works for us as a lot of our engineers are on the field.

  ### 15. The EdApp team have been amazing to work with. Prompt & efficient. Work of a high caliber.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly T. | Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I particularly appreciated the prompt responses to any issues and problems we encountered.
They nailed the brief we provided, and the quality of the content created for us was of a very high standard.
They took the time to understand our business to gain valuable insight that enabled excellent outcomes.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There is nothing that I disliked about working with EdApp. They moved mountains to achieve the outcomes in the time frames we provided them. We really felt valued and, at all times, were made to feel like a priority.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a solution to re-do some ancient online SCORM training modules to refresh them, bring them up to speed and make them more relevant to the learners within our workforce. As a result, we now have a new flash suite of training modules broken down into short, sharp courses that enable the learner to understand the content being delivered. This means less time is required for our Site Managers to schedule new team members behind a computer during onboarding and more time grasping concepts with hands-on experience.

  ### 16. User-Friendly, Fast Setup for Value!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna L. | Training Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

As a training coordinator, I loved all the options for digital & mobile training. We have many digital forward generations working for us, and handing them a packet to read doesn't provide the results an interactive interface does. There are also SO many design layouts available to keep the testing engaging and fun, no more monotonous, boring reading! Also, you can't go wrong with the free version; it provides so much that it's perfect for any start-up or non-profit like us!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I honestly didn't come across any feature I didn't like. The value for the pricing offered is INSANE and how could you be upset with a free version that beats out its competitors who charge insane amounts!

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First of all, EdApp's #educateall mission with UNITAR is strongly aligned with our company's values. As we help solve issues with our mission, it's incredible EdApp is doing the same for their mission. Also, the fact EdApp is providing affordable training platforms for small businesses helps solve our problem of being tight with budget constraints. This is a company I want every small business I know to work with, as good training is the foundation for successful operations.

  ### 17. An amazing experience in teaching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie H. | Head of the Math department in the school, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Edapp offers the teachers the possibility to create animated courses in a very easy way. Many templates are available for the lessons whether it’s a text or a quiz.
The teacher can prepare a course and publish it whenever he/she wants and he can add as many students (users) as he wants.
Not only the teaching experience is amazing but also the learning experience is exceptional and motivating especially that the students earn stars on the correct answers on quizzes.
The students can also learn at their own convenience which make it easier for each student to evolve at his own rhythm.
The teacher can also analyse the users' login and activity feed.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Nothing, i like everything about edapp.
It's very well done and the paid version gives also many other features like prize draws and prize templates to motivate students more and more.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me teach hundreds of students Python in a very easy, precise and motivating way and it helped the students review several times the course as many times as they wanted.
It helped all the school : teachers and students make a quick progress in Python.

  ### 18. Online Training Valuable Asset

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | HSE Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp allows our employees to log on to complete the required training at their convenience. They incorporate several points systems to motivate employees to do their best.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

In the EdApp subscription plans, they offer to help companies create online training from current PowerPoint slides. There are limitations though, to what they believe is the appropriate length and content of online training and so what they offer looks like a lot but really is not. They also take about two months to finish a project. The app is easy to work in, and I am usually able to complete them in a day or two.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working in the Oil & Gas Industry, it is difficult to get all of our employees to come in at a set time to attend our safety meetings. EdApp is allowing us to record and send out our meetings to those unable to attend. They also have a variety of topics already in their system for us to utilize.

  ### 19. Almost 20 Years in L&D; EdApp is the Best LMS w/ an Authoring Tool Out There!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles D. | Senior Manager - Operations Training, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Having an all-in-one LMS and authoring tool is very desirable. I especially like how easy it is to author a course. Having a course library is very helpful too. It is editable and growing all the time!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

One of the downsides of EdApp is that there is not currently a better structure for adding individual users to courses as needed. As an admin, I want my "Manager Analytics" users to be able to register their users into courses as they wish. As an admin, I am not able to register individuals into courses. I am required to register based only on user groups. This is annoying quite frankly. It seems very restrictive.

What would be a great solution to this, is having a course library that is searchable by a user. Then that user can choose to register their self into the course as they wish. I do not want to make my courses universally available, but at the same time, the manager who has that access, should be able to register their employee without having to go through me (the admin).

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp is solving several problems for my company, which are listed below.

1. Streamlining our company's training into one all-inclusive platform.
2. Offering an easy-to-use authoring tool eliminates the need for designers who are previously trained in ID software (or having to spend a lot of time training someone in ID Authoring).
3. Tracking completions and reporting options with availability to review by managers in sites (rather than always coming to me for these records).

This option has brought our company's classroom efforts into the 21st century. Our employees are much more engaged in the classroom training process, and they are getting through the content easier (and faster) than with site-based trainers.

  ### 20. A brilliant way to set up e-Learning within your organisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James F. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I have found the library of courses to be an excellent way to start building relevant content and to learn how the various slides work. Being able to use these to put together a portfolio of courses, branded in our own design, has been a fantastic experience.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I haven't really come up against any barriers with EdApp so far. Everything is very logical, and the support we've received from EdApp has been excellent. Perhaps having more library content that is UK-based would be helpful, but maybe that will come with time.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were keen to create an e-Learning platform for our membership, but the potential costs were a barrier to entry. I was also concerned that any platform we invested in would be clunky or not feel engaging and modern. Thankfully, EdApp has proven to be the exact opposite - offering a free introduction into e-Learning on an engaging platform.

  ### 21. Amazing Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve B. | Vice President, Guest Experince, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I love the authoring and ho interactive the entire program is. There are so many options available that the user doesn't get bored as you go through different lessons and courses. As an admin, they've made the process so easy that just about anyone can create an effective lesson.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

User Groups are kind of confusing to me. I'm used to a more traditional setup of hierarchy, creating stores and adding team members to those stores. I'll get used to user groups though.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous training program consisted of a lot of plain reading lessons, a few videos and basic quizzes. We weren't getting any engagement and were finding that users would open a lesson and close it without reading the content. The learning was minimal. With EdApp, we are seeing much more engagement and learning and have seen better performance and consistency.

  ### 22. Extremely Intuitive and User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abby C. | Performance Optimisation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Ed App is extremely intuitive and user friendly. Their knowledgebase of information is also very helpful, and the live chat is responsive and informative too.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I have not yet found a downside to EdApp. We are only very early in the onboarding process, and have not yet got any of our learners set up, but everything I can see seems quick and straightforward.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many staff members across our home city, as well as in other cities across the UK, and getting people to attend, pay attention and absorb important legislative and business updates can be a challenge, particularly during seasonal peak times. This application allows us to roll out training, updates and information to all staff at once, measure uptake and performance, and reward staff who are the most engaged, all without leaving head office or asking staff to travel.

  ### 23. Super Easy, Engaging, perfect platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony C. | Director Of Rooms, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The ease to create quick pieces of training or long sessions is so intuitive and a breeze. The platform is so user friendly to create. Associates are also engaging more with this type of training and the brain boosts help keep everyone in check.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There's nothing really to dislike about this app. If you want it, there's always a way to work around to make it work. The suggestions from the team also assist when stuck and need a but of a push.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp solves the online training piece when tying to connect with a lot of associates. They can do it on their own time or in a group setting. All the trainings are tracked and you can see the progress of each person. The ability to have different trainings for different departments is great for large environments

  ### 24. Highly recommend. EdApp is an easy-to-use and configure, micro-learning platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack R. | Chief Innovation, Strategy & Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Great pre-sale and onboarding support, as well as training. Solid set of features out of the box and the development team is open to feedback and responsive. I recently asked EdApp to enable password reset to strengthen security, and the feature was available within a few weeks. Based on their quick turnaround, I'm hopeful and optimistic that further planned enhancements will provide the additional features we seek. If yes, then EdApp will be 10 of 10.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

As we are new to EdApp, we signed up for a subscription and for 30 lessons to be created by EdApp's learning designers.

The initial course of four lessons is very polished and engaging, and EdApp created some custom templates with our compay logo and brand colours that are brilliant. But the templates were not shared along with the content, which may have just been an oversight. I'm hoping EdApp will both share the templates and show us how to use them, so we can emulate their high standard and create courses as professional for our team in-house.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upskilling our team to deliver a consistently high level of service.

  ### 25. EdApp for Learning Management Needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vasantha R. | Lead-Field Services [Maintenance], Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp has lot of curated content
It helps you build pocket LMS at a scale and rapid pace with pre-curated content.
EdApp also helps to add existing content to get converted into platform-sensitive content
Any presentation shall be converted into a learning course.
The major USP is their free version, with many feature sets available for effective scale-up of the learning management portal.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The addition of voice content is quite challenging, apart from that, navigation of the course in the android application is quite tedious, else the product in general, is quite complete with a list of features required to create an enterprise LMS system

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning Management Solution
Quizzes and Surveys
Safety and Employee Induction with small quizzes for gauging the understanding of the team
Addition of small learning concepts for ready reckoner

  ### 26. Love, love, love the customer service, micro lesson format, and wealth of course work available

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The micro lesson format that Ed App provides is easily accessible from any mobile device or computer and is gamified, which makes learning the lessons fun and interactive.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Sometimes if I want to check out a new course, and I am already logged into Ed App, the system does not recognize that I am already logged in, and it takes me around and around trying to get to where I am trying to go.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ed App is solving the problem of how I would offer a high-quality, online library of self-development and professional development courses to adult learners of various ages and backgrounds. This benefits me because although I have the concept for my online library and I create systems, I love the fact that I have access to sharing quality courses designed by other course creators with my clients. It helps me support my clients and myself with excellent resources for continuing education.

  ### 27. Eddapp Saved my Business.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurence N. | Teacher , Driving Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The fact that I can create mini lessons that I was able to share with my clients.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The fact that i get charged per customer if I need more features. I am using Eddapp in a developing country where the cost of living is low. It is hard to afford $2.99 per customer to be able to access certain features. I will like Eddapp to review their pricing for people like me.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where I have my business is a developing country where e-learning is not yet in vogue. Eddapp gave me the ability to bring that feature. Most people in Africa did not profit much from virtual learning during the covid lockdown. This is an opportunity for me to step up and change things at my level.

EdApp helps to enhance the skills for a person. It motivates the learner to complete the course in on time.It is flexible so the learner can schedule the time to complete the course.Common LMS platform where organisation members everyone on in single page

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Currently upto date we have not noticed any glitches or issues in the app.Onlu user group confusing to me.voice is bit low in the some content.customise portfolio report based on their learning can be published to individual to make them understand the progress of the content

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently we are a startup and we are making training module for new employees to understand the process, culture and technical content.Previously we are using NAS to store the data now we have common platform where EdApp plays a major part

  ### 30. Great Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith R. | Customer Experience Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I think EdApp is a great platform. I really like that it is mobile compatible. This has been known for K-12 but they are constantly adding more business courses that are very beneficial for my team. It is a great app to use and there are so many courses to choose from.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The only dislike is the currently limited amount of business courses but more are being added. Business courses are not just for corporations but for students who are transitioning into the workforce.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp is providing the additional knowledge of customer experience for my employees who need additional training and support in this area. We currently do not have a training team in our organization so this has been a great help.

  ### 31. A convenient experience of using EdApp for my classes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siti Nur H. | English Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp brings ease and convenience to me, as a teacher, to provide my students withfun and interactive ways to learn and to do their exercises. The vast array of features that can be chosen and put into the lesson facilitates me to be creative ik designing the lesson.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

It would be much better if EdApp could provide a built-in customization setting of theme, such as the option of background pictures, fonts, or even colors. This would make EdApp more interesting.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp helps me save much time in preparing for my lesson activities, because when it comes to give a fun and interactive lesson activities, I need to spare a huge amount of time for preparing it.

  ### 32. One stop shop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katelyn B. | Call Center Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I like that there are many options to help with the quarterly continuing education we want our staff to do. We can customize it to fit our wants and needs; the best part is that it is FREE!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

While it may have tons of options for training, there are still some areas I would like to see. We deal with Customer Service for NEMT and there wasn't much that pertains to NEMT, but we did make what we could find work.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us solve the issue with training. Coming up with something new can be difficult when searching the web and EdApp seems to have just about everything we need in one spot.

  ### 33. Ed App is a great mobile learning tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake S. | Sr. Director, Global Delivery & Professional Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

It is really helpful for those who are arriving at a new workplace, with bite-size training and great knowledge checkpoints, quick sharp lessons make the learning journey very effective

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

As it does feel like it is a mobile-first learning platform. It is a bit trickier to perform detailed web application style training as the resolution of those videos and images make it tricky to train detailed screens

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we work for a time and attendance provider, it's great to partner with a product that supports the learning journey for staff members that are arriving potentially on-site for their first time. It really streamlines the learning journey and removes a lot of team member anxiety

  ### 34. Extraordinary and very intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Enrique S. | Education Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

What I like the most is that I can create different lessons within a course, I can create categories or groups to further customize the training, the analytics information is amazing.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

What I don't like is that when uploading a video, you can't rotate the view, meaning I turn my phone to landscape mode and the video doesn't get bigger. If that can be modified, the functionality would be great.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are evaluating using EdApp for the company's formal training. As a consultant, it is helping us because it is more intuitive for the employees and provides us with many reports on each course and its usage.

  ### 35. Just what we were looking for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | UK Training and Competency Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Being able to create content quickly that looks good and is engaging for the end user. Content creation isn't stressful and after looking across multiple LMS providers, EdApp's content creator is the best.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Sometimes due to network connections, it has staggered in the past. However this is probably down to our internet rather than Ed Apps. API's for certain things are not there yet

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the issue of getting tool box talks and risk assessments out to drivers and warehouse operators without them having to come into the office and work on a PC, it is perfect and ideal for mobile learning which is getting our compliance figures through the roof!!

  ### 36. Great app for professional learners with engaging features!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I love that there is a wide range of features that is available to not only display information but to keep learners engaged through activities. The course authoring tools are also easy to use with a focus on mobile-first approach makes it a very relevant tool for training in my organization.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

1. Generally, it's been great but it could be better if the CSS parts could be made into a broader range of present options.
2.Sometimes the text options (black/white) will not match with the background. Could be intergrated better.
3. Would be awesome if some kind of scenario-based feature in the lessons to be more immersive.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the time covid, it has been an absolutely useful tool to keep training our teams remotely yet in an engaging manner. The leaderboard and analytics have also been extremely useful to track progress and dish out rewards for top learner scores.

  ### 37. Using EdApp for Masterclass

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon M. | Manager, Marketing Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is super easy to use and the user experience for the person taking the masterclass is great. I love the gamification of the course and how professional it looks when you are taking the class.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I wish the integration to Hubspot was not a paid feature. I also don't like the delay it takes for analytics to show up. It sometimes takes 30 minutes-an hour when we start pulling them.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a free tool to host a masterclass for our customers. EdApp was the nicest looking, most user-friendly tool we came across. We have had several people sign up for the masterclass and are successfully using it.

  ### 38. Training people virtually while tracking their progress has become so easy because of EdApp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruhi N. | Sales Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The thing I like most about EdApp is how easily even a beginner can create courses and lessons for learners, also because there are so many relevant courses in their library already, especially the sales ones.It is one-stop solution for all our training needs.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Nothing much, but it would be better if we could hold the classroom sessions like on Gmeet and score the assessments and get a percentage or grade on the tests.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp solves a lot of our training problems, like making training fun, self-paced, creative, and trackable and keeping everything in one place. We now know what the learner is doing in the offline tasks assigned to them.

  ### 39. Truly a solid choice for employee education

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert D. | Vice President of Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

We like that it has the ability to be used on mobile and on desktop. We also like the ability to be able to add in achievement badges--which are completely customizeable.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Using EdApp on a laptop or desktop can feel a bit clunky; it's clear that everything is designed for mobile and that it was then ported to a desktop version, but that hasn't been a dealbreaker for us.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a training solution but were running into several issues: most were far too expensive and appeared as if they would take hundreds of hours of setup. EdApp appears to offer a solution to both of those issues.

  ### 40. Excellent Learning Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I'm most impressed with the learner engagement features. The courses and lessons are viewable on the learner's cell phone, which makes learning easy to access. This accessibility increase learner engagement. Other features which promote learner engagement are prize draws, social learning, leaderboards and practical assessments. Also, the price point is reasonable compared to other learning platforms. The customer support is top notch.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The canned content, though well done, is not as comprehensive as other platforms. They are, however, building it out so eventually, the breadth will come. Also, the capability to edit their canned content and make it your own if fantastic.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp solves the problem of providing training that's timely and accessible. Since we have grown to numerous locations, our old training method of bringing everyone to the corporate office became obsolete. Covid also eliminated the option of brining everyone to the corporate office for training.

  ### 41. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

How easy it is to understand and use. I felt comfortable with the system after about 10-20 minutes. I think EdApp's unique capabilities lie within the interactive session elements, making my lessons much more engaging.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Sometimes I think it's hard to start from scratch when creating lessons. There could be more sample lessons to use as templates and build off. There are so many options, it was difficult at first to figure out what I wanted my lesson to look like.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I value EdApp because it helps solve the inaccessibility of education applications. I have found that no other website provides the capabilities with Ed App's easy-to-use design.

  ### 42. An amazing course and quiz creating platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mr S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The interface is really interactive, clean and has been well thought out. There are so many templates and ready made courses that save time and give you a good idea on what can be achieved quickly using this system.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I would like to see the option of displaying more than one question on a slide. This customisation will allow different types of solutions and different types of learning.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp will allow us to create courses that are engaging and give us the ability to monitor progress easily. We are looking to create a learning platform that is easy to use and enables our students to retain more information.

  ### 43. Great UI/UX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashida R. | Learning & Development, Strategy & Capability (Medical), Senior Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Great UI/UX will motivate employees after the educational and meeting sessions.
As an admin, it's a valuable platform for managing materials easily compared to other similar solutions.
Edapp has got a leadership position in the microlearning solution in G2.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I requested the Edapp team to create the material from our original PPT slide to decorate PPT. It took about one week. I hope the duration of editing will shorten in the future.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Behavior Change.
It's essential to keep the employees' behavior changing after the educational and meeting sessions.
This App is a possible way to solve this problem dramatically.

  ### 44. It's a great tool though simplifying the price would be better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** roddy a. | Comm Spec, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

It allows me to create a class as well as publish the class on the same website. Other software only allows for content creation, but no course publication which makes it difficult.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The cost is extremely high for a larger group. If we're looking to segment courses in the future and we have circa 1000 or more accounts, the price comes out to be way to expensive.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to be able to reach a broader group and population by making our trainings more readily available for all people to partake in. It also allows for flexibility which is hard to come on these days.

  ### 45. EdApp is a fun learning tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachael G. | VP/General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I like how customizable it is. It's very easy to create lessons.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There was a learning curve on inviting in my users. I made the mistake of having them download the app first before receiving the invitation from me. We figured it out, but it took some time to do so. Also, I wish it had a couple more features with the free version... specifically ability to group users and the lessons they are able to see. I know the paid version allows for this.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to zero in on specific quality control issues with learning lessons that make the retention more fun.

  ### 46. fully functional free program

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam D. | Conservation Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I love that EdApp was exactly what I was looking for: a way to provide mobile-first, people friendly training for my colleagues and interns. It does what I need it to do, and quickly.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The biggest restriction on the app is that folks can't enter long-form text for grading. E.g., I can ask 30 multiple choice, but I can't do a long answer without paying. And paying for my small team to take a 10 minute lesson once a quarter really just doesn't make sense.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal training used to be done with Google Docs and linked videos. While those are ok, it makes it challenging to make sure that people are actually engaging with the material and not just skimming to check a box. EdApp keeps it interactive, which means that they're "forced" to learn (and have fun doing it).

  ### 47. Intuitive Learning Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Acasha K. | Marketing and Leadership Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is an intuitive easy to use platform. The drag and drop content makes it easy to create effevite learning opportunities for a variety of learners! EdApp supasses other LMS platforms I have used in the past!

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I think adding in longer content opportunites and additional essay style quessitons would add to the already robust LMS system. The addition of more premade content classes would also be helpful.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EdApp is assisting with onboarding and ongoing training. Our industry is very compliance heavy and EdApp allows us to effectively train and monitor the progress of all of our learners.

  ### 48. Excellent Tool For Filling in Training Gaps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn F. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

We like that the leaderboards motivate staff to have the highest score. We also enjoy that we can customize the courses to suit our needs.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I disklike how confusing it is at times to edit a course. There are many steps to edit the theme or a slide and it can be confusing to first time users.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Edapp is helping us fill in the gaps on our in person training. Sometimes we are too busy to go into great detail about something and this affords us that ability.

  ### 49. Amazing tools & amazing price structure for Small business or nonprofit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | COO and Clinical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Built-in creative teaching tools and gamification

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I haven't found any yet. Trying to find a content creation partner.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any kind of online or mobile Social / emotional training for adolescents is hard, expensive or so boring that no teen wants to engage. EdApp makes that possible.

  ### 50. Awesome Learning Management System

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash K. | SDE-1, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp allows integration with most of the Big learning solutions out there, which makes it real easy for businesses to migrate their existing operations to EdApp , Also course authroing seems very easy in EdApp

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I have used EdApp only a few times to test out what EdApp has to offer, so I did not get a chance to dive deep into all aspects of EdApp, but I feel it is so far pretty straightforward to use software

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was testing out different LMS available on the internet and also comparing various Authoring tools out there, And I found EdApp a top candidate in LMS category , which will be beneficial for multiple use cases such as business training, courses for university students etc.
