I like the simplicity and visual aspects of 10k'. I like that I can bounce between lookin at people and projects and people by projects and get all of the information I need quickly and easily. I wish I could track individuals' time and actuals without having to purchase license seats for each of them. We already have a time management tool. Prior to 10k' we were using a mix of Excel Spreadsheets, home grown account management software, and Float. All of which required a lot of manual manipulations and tracking to try to get to the information we needed to track and make informed resource management decisions and report back to leadership about resources. 10k' made it easy to see who was on what, forecasted for what, and provided some insights into estimating and forecasting. The ability to quickly setup projects, assign resource. The resource view is of great value to us and one of the main reasons we have stayed using the product. The main issue is the cost, as we need to increase our licence to over 20 people and at $450 a month which is over priced. It is interesting to be able to see in 10,000ft the line graphs that show the progress or time consumption in the projects, as well as it is easy to see who worked on each project and how much time they invested, as well as being able to review the budget and costs. The option to divide projects by time, expense, and progress is great. - The option to create the final project report is good but there should be more filters. - The "Times and expenses" report screen is pleasing to the eye. - The side filters of the tabs like: My Views, Shared Views, Show are useful for search optimization. What do you dislike about Resource Management by Smartsheet? - The pages display a lot of information that is sometimes not easy to digest for someone who is not familiar with the data. As an Account Executive, I cannot distinguish the most important data from the irrelevant. The project reports should have more filters to only show the data that interests the client. - The "Today" personal hours report screen is not entirely understandable. - The "Project portfolio" tab has a list-like appearance that is not accessible and quick. My company primarily uses 10,000ft for time tracking and client project tracking. Its easy to enter and approve time and the analytics reporting does the job.
