For campaigns with linear dependencies and defined milestones, the grid view is intuitive for users who think in spreadsheet terms, and the timeline visualization gives stakeholders a clear view of where projects stand. For straightforward project tracking with a team that already works in Excel-like environments, it gets the job done without much configuration overhead.

Spreadsheet Familiarity with Collaborative Power

I really like the spreadsheet style of work management in Smartsheet. It looks familiar to a spreadsheet, but each row can represent a particular task, project activity, or a process step. You can really add more columns to it for status, owner, deadlines, priority, etcetera, as per our requirement. With just a single click of a button, we can add, change, and edit everything, and it changes for everyone. It helps to collaborate better across different teams and departments.
