Resource forecasting is either easy or challenging depending on how you run your teams. If you have team members working on multiple projects a day it can be cumbersome to set up. The system assumes people will be working 100% of the time on a project from start to finish and that needs to be consistently adjusted as project assignments do. One of the best features of this program is the ability to create different projects with phases and categories of tasks. It is easy to add logs and create line items under a project. I dislike using this tool as an allocation planner, it is difficult and time-consuming to chunk out times by specific day and often it is easier (yet less accurate) to spread the budget for a project over a long period of time, without a day by day breakdown. The interface is very well done. So much simpler than other platforms. It's not that it's less complex in terms of what it can do for you, but the process of getting there is very uncluttered. The amount of reports you can generate is incredible. I really appreciate the easy setup of this strong feature. This is our third PM system in 3 years and it's here to stay. We are far more effective at collecting people's hours using this system - very streamlined. The old adage, garbage in, garbage out is so true. If it's not super easy for staff to get their hours in - there is no point to the system at all. I have had employees thank us for switching to a system that's so much nicer to use. the main benefit for my company is the monitoring of the project done, calculating the budget, and the time it takes to do it, plus the staff that will be needed to do it, one of the projects I did with NuStream Marketing was for a hotel company in the Bahamas, this tool managed the entire project and helped me organize the budget statutes, and staff to achieve success. 10000ft has a good work-space for creating, editing, compiling all projects and being able to monitor them against a time constraint that is the beginning and the ending of the project. 10000ft has an appealing interface that is easy to navigate and displays all concerned personnel. The details are well arranged such that one can monitor the presence of every employee. Cost management features have reduced thrift that happens due to lack of cost management. Analytics have helped us to function off from a proposed budget ensuring discipline in expenditure. Task management is now simple and well decoded we are able to prioritise projects depending on urgency of clients. Monitoring employees is now easy as one can have them configured in one page thanks to 10000ft. Projects are now easy to run and assign to people through the scheduler, one can check the progress of every project. Timing our projects is now easy and our workflow has improved. This software is great for tracking your teams time against a project budget. Your team can put in their time daily, getting as granular as what category it is in and notes on what they did.
