The graphics and its ability to handle large assemblies have improved over the years. And I also love the model cleanup tools where I was able to delete similar sized features all in one click as it detects and selects all the instances automatically once I select the feature. This significantly reduces the preprocessing time. **What do you dislike about Designcenter NX?** My last responce on this has not improved yet. Still I have to search for a specific command to access it. For example 'Custom Symbol' command. Commands should not repeat in different workbench. Serious Improvement is need in Command Organization. Sketch tool constraints are too annoying. There is modeling, assembly, layouts, constraints, reference sets, arrangements and sequencing that help you better visualize your models within an assembly. It is a super simple implementation with SAP PLM environment and is used weekly if not on a daily basis. **What do you dislike about Designcenter NX?** I don't really have a downside for siemens NX CAD other than that you are limited to what you can design because of licensing. There is a lot more potential for the CAD environment but depending on what your field/company needs that's all they'll buy. **What problems is Designcenter NX solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving tolerancing, layouts and clearances that we might need to see virtually before applying it in real life at our plant. Specifically the Copilot integration and ability to plugin other AI tools throught customization is really helpful. NX copilot can automate tasks, suggest best practices and guide users. Also automating 2D deawing generation using AI tools improves productivity. There have also been significant performance improvements, which are noticeable throughout the software. Additionally, the enhancements made to sheet metal features are quite substantial. **What do you dislike about Designcenter NX?** Even though AI tools are really helpful but needs lot of data to train them. This is especially true for niche product development where existing data is limited. New UI's are packed with features but takes time to get used to it and for old users this is frustrating. Still surface modeling is limited. Surface modeling doesn't offer deep control and is still inferior to 3DExperience. Performance issues are observed especially for functionalities that rely on cloud because of latency. Even if you're primarily doing work involving traditional machined parts (as I do), the toolset in NX allows for faster workflows both in concept and in production design. Equally importantly, the toolset in NX enables quick accommodation and steering of late-breaking concept and scope changes, which is a great factor regarding client satisfaction (and thus repeat business). **What do you dislike about Designcenter NX?** There's seemingly "basic" functionality that requires costly extra licenses in NX, which can be irritating sometimes. Some of it's upsides include: 1. Parametric modeling & Assembly: Reduces rework hours when there for the revised components. 2. Allows users to customize NX environment according to their needs, hence adhering to organization standards. 3. Powerful tools for advance modeling, surfacing, etc. 4. Good integration with Teamcenter. **What do you dislike about Designcenter NX?** Documentation to use some of the features are out-of-date. Less information on how to use some advance features. Some key features are not available in NX which are present in other CAD softwares. **What problems is Designcenter NX solving and how is that benefiting you?** NX provides users to customize the CAD environment according to their needs. This helps users/engineers to make sure the component/drawing is meeting the industry standards.
