What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

I continue to appreciate how quickly we can validate different layout/flow scenarios before implementation, reducing risks and rework. The visualization and reporting make it easier to align stakeholders (engineering, logistics, operations) and justify decisions with data. What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

Licensing and initial setup/training cost are still a barrier for some teams, and the learning curve can be steep for new users. Performance and usability could be improved for very large/complex models (faster iteration, smoother handling). "Powerful and Accurate Simulation Tools for Real-World Manufacturing"

What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

I really like how powerful and practical technomatix is for real word manufacturing work. The simulation tools are very accurate, especially for robotics. We can check robot paths,detect collisions, and validate the whole steup before anything goes to the shop floor. I really appreciate how much it can handle in one platform- process planning, robot programming, layout validation,ergonomics, everything.

It also integrates well with other siemens tools,which makes data handlining smooth.

The more i use it, the more useful it becomes for day-to-day manufacturing planning. Once you use the software frequently, then it became very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

The main thing i dont like is that the learning curve is quite steep.It takes time to get comfortable,especially with the advanced simulation tools. Some tasks feel more complicated than they should be.

Beacuse of that the ease of implementation also takes longer than expected.

Major improvements in virtual commissioning and robotics support

Better simulation and debugging tools for robot programming and offline programming (OLP).

New operator messaging panel for interacting with robot messages (e.g., KUKA) directly inside simulations.

Virtual Robot Controller integration for commissioning workflows.

These help engineers validate robot logic and behavior before physically commissioning equipment, reducing risk and rework.

Virtual Reality (VR) support

What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

Teconomatix is challanging us every day.

Not two days alike. :)

I also think that it's good that it's quite flexible.

We can most of the times do what we want to do in the way we want to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

We have a lot of problems with the PathEditor and the Projection tool.

And this has really become a big problem with the new AM process, Additive welding that is, which brings us really large paths, with a lot of locations. And lots, and lots of these paths.

To me, it feels like these parts of the software are really old and need to be updated. Sometimes it also feels like Siemens if focusing on introducing new functionality, flashy graphics, instead of fixing basic things that is not working that good, like the projection tool.
