"Streamlined Process Simulation and Assembly Workflow Integration"
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

Tecnomatix support lifecycle. I’ve used it to simulate processes and check accuracy. In terms of the tools, it lets users build assembly workflows and overall it feels great to work, even though I’m still a bit uncertain at times when I’m doing the analysis. The workflow integration is especially strong, with features that keep everything connected with in one system and help the overall workflow run more smoothly, including robot support for KULA and ABB, along with data status connectivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

Tecnomatix is easy to use, but you still need to use it effectively to get the most out of it. I find some of tools especially pleasnat to work with when handling complex PLM and overall it continues to feel fast and relaible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Flexible Tecnomatix with Smooth Teamcenter Integration and Strong Simulations"
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

Tecnomatix can connect with Teamcenter software, which supports lifecycle management. When I used it to optimize manufacturing processes and run layout simulations, the ergonomic digital human and motion capture fetures helped me support scaling timescales and create more organized structure. The integration felt smooth, the workflow was solid and the tool is fast and flexible. I also appreciate the detailed process definition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

I don’t have much to dislike. External API specific integration is straightforward, especially if you alreday have a solid structure and a well informed decision making process making process in place. I also really thanks full the technical support team and the overall ease of use, which makes it simpler to roll out and implement across different areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tecnomatix Delivers Precise 3D Process Simulation for Smarter Manufacturing Planning"
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

The feature that impresses me most about Tecnomatix is its capability for simulating manufacturing processes before implementation with utmost accuracy. With regards to process preparation and using tools such as Process Simulate, Tecnomatix enables users to test the assembly procedures and validate the motion sequences performed by robots and human workers through simulations. The tool, therefore, eliminates a great deal of uncertainty from the shop floor since you get to check any potential problems within a manufacturing process before actual implementation.

One other thing I really like about this software is its precision when performing analyses such as cycle time analyses and workflow optimization, among others. The software is highly useful in such industries as automotive and heavy engineering due to the complexity involved in their manufacturing processes.

One more advantage of Tecnomatix is that it promotes coordination among engineers and production departments in manufacturing companies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

One of the major disadvantages of using Tecnomatix is the difficulty of learning it. The software is highly powerful but it takes some time to learn about all its functions and the work flow, especially during process simulation.

The other downside is that Tecnomatix requires significant investment, which might make it too expensive for smaller businesses. This solution is more recommended for large enterprises with complicated requirements of the manufacturing process.

Also, in case of using complicated simulations, the performance might become problematic due to high complexity of computations. Overall, Tecnomatix is a highly effective solution that should be used by experts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Offline Robot Programming That Saves Time and Works Across Brands"
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

What I like most is the offline robot programming in Process Simulate. It lets us test and create programs without stopping production, which saves a lot of time. It also works well with different robot brands like Fanuc, KUKA, and ABB, so managing a mixed setup becomes easier. The Teamcenter integration is another big plus since all the process and product data stay connected in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

The learning curve can feel pretty steep at first, especially for new users. Some features like complex path editing aren't very intuitive, so it takes a while to get comfortable with them. Once you understand how the system works. It's fine but that initial phase can definitely slow people down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Virtual Robot Programming Across Brands with Smooth Teamcenter Integration"
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

The biggest advantage is that I can program and validate robots virtually without having to stop production. It also works well across different robot brands like Fanuc, KUKA and ABB, which is especially valuable in mixed environments. On top of that, the connection with Teamcenter helps keep engineering and manufacturing data aligned with one system and the makes the overall workflow smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

It enables us to validate robot processes and layouts in a virtual environment before we implement anything on the shop floor. Doing this upfront helps us spot potential issues early, reduce installation errors, minimize rework and accelerate commissioning. It's refinement and iteration of robot programs. "Accurate Robotics Simulation with All-in-One Planning and Great Support"
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

The simulation tools are very accurate, especially for robotics. I also appreciate how much the platform can manage in one place, from process planning and robot programming to layout validation. The virtual Robot Controller integration is particularly convenient for commissioning workflows and makes the overall process easier to coordinate and manage. On top of that, it comes with great customer support and a strong set of features. Tecnomatix has been very useful lately; it’s the kind of software that needs to be implemented to help keep customers on the right path toward digitalization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

Getting started with Tecnomatix is pretty straightforward, but you really do need some training to use it effectively. Overall, I find it fairly easy to learn and work with, even though new engineers often struggle quite a bit at the beginning. Certain tools, like path editing, are especially pleasant to use when you’re dealing with complex weld paths, and the strong integration with PLM is a big help as well.
