**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

Finally a system that put all of our client info under one pane of glass! NewOrg is able to hold our entire client database, help us register clients for events, track their visits to our center, and pull very specific reports quickly. Their support is honest, friendly, and fast, and their sales and implementation teams were very knowledgeable about the non-profit space and really asked good questions about our needs and listened so the product was doing what we needed it to and was easy for our volunteers to use.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

We love them, but we don't use their online client portal, their texting, or their donor management features because we already had other platforms for these functions, or we just didn't need them.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before NewOrg, we couldn't access our client data or reports from multiple devices simultaneously - now that is easy. It's so much easier to track and share information, and it's really cut down on data entry time. It's also much easier to train new users, so we can move lines at outreaches much faster and have quicker metrics. We are happy that we can store all the information we need and customize the fields for our client profiles, and that the custom events to record visits store all the information we need to plan inventory for outreaches.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

From the start, NewOrg has tailored their platform to meet our organization’s needs. Their support team has been incredibly helpful and accommodating whenever we’ve needed changes, and it genuinely feels like they do it all with a smile. Their response time on support tickets is very quick, and they pay close attention to the details to make sure we’re fully supported.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

The only downside I’ve experienced with using NewOrg is that we weren’t fully aware of all its capabilities. We thought we were using the platform to its fullest, but during an annual review with their staff, we realized it can do much more. In particular, it offers additional support for our end-of-month reports that we hadn’t been taking advantage of.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization provides direct services, and NewOrg has helped us spend more time with our patrons instead of getting bogged down in paperwork. The migration to our platform has also made a real difference for our time-management needs, addressing gaps our office had been struggling with.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

What I like best about NewOrg is its ability to serve as a secure, centralized database for our organization. It allows us to maintain electronic participant records while giving authorized staff appropriate access through customizable permissions.

The platform is especially helpful for tracking participant attendance, managing program schedules, documenting meetings, monitoring progress, and administering assessments that automatically compute scores. This improves organization, supports accountability, and saves staff time by reducing manual processes.

Additionally, their customer support team has been responsive and committed to resolving issues when they arise, which has been extremely valuable to our organization

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

NewOrg includes many features, which can sometimes require multiple steps to complete certain tasks. Because of this, the platform may not always feel intuitive for new users and can take some time to become fully comfortable navigating.

That said, once processes are established, the system supports strong data management and oversight.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NewOrg helps us centralize our data so we are no longer managing participant information across multiple spreadsheets or rely solely on paper files. Having a secure electronic system improves organization, strengthens data accuracy, and supports compliance with reporting requirements.

It also allows us to efficiently track attendance, participant progress, meetings, and assessments while maintaining detailed contact records. This enhances our ability to monitor outcomes, demonstrate program impact, and make informed decisions that better support the students and families we serve.

Overall, the platform creates greater operational structure and accountability across our programs.

The implementation process and learning curve were both much easier than we anticipated. Support staff are friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and expedient. Training materials are very helpful. NewOrg is very easy to customize to each organization's programs and needs.

There's nothing I can think of that I dislike about NewOrg.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, our data management system had felt like a one-size-fits-none approach to a subject that varies extraordinarily for each organization. We had had to devise ways to ensure our programs’ data fit into their platform, even when the two weren’t compatible. But NewOrg’s platform is customizable to fit our organization’s programs and needs. Our staff feel confident using NewOrg, whereas with our previous system, staff avoided using it.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

The NewOrg platform is incredibly flexible. We are not their "typical" client, but they were able to customize their platform to accommodate all the quirks of our non-profit's programs, including building 3 custom portals for our stakeholders; building out custom, calculated fields that help us with our reporting; creating a variety of reports to answer the questions we need to be able to manage our programs and show our impact; and created custom solutions to help our team process client applications more accurately and more quickly. Additionally, most of those items (except the portals) were created in hours to days - not weeks to months like the other systems we have used. When we submit tickets, they are usually resolved in less than a day, and if not possible, they let us know when it will be complete. Implementation couldn't have been more collaborative, thought-provoking, focused, fun (yes actually fun!), and productive. It was truly a joy to implement this system and that's something I've never said before.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

We had a few items that we'd like to customize but can't, but none are dealbreakers. I love the reports and dashboards; they're a huge upgrade over our prior system, but a few more customization options, summation options, and visualization updates would go a long way.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best way to understand our experience is to look at the white paper we co-authored on their website  - look for Operation Fuel or Generation Power CT  (we rebranded - I can't post link here). Can't recommend them enough. They have some things they could improve, but are constantly working on them and are very receptive to feedback and suggestions. They have created a flexible and customizable system that fits our organization's many programmatic "quirks" and requirements. No other system we looked at would be as flexible, as agile, and as reasonably priced for a non-profit organization.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

New Org has been able to customize our portal to be designed specifically with us as the organization at the forefront. Their support team is incredibly timely, supportive, and innovative. They have brought our requests and ideas to life with easily managed, trainable, and adaptable add-ons. In addition, the implementation enabled us to have a specifically dedicated support team, which allowed for ongoing testing, training, and updates to ensure the functionality met our needs. We use New Org daily, and with our small team and being inundated with client applications, we feel completely confident, efficient, and transparent with the use of New Org.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

There is not much to dislike about New Org. If there is functionality that doesn't quite work, or a report that needs to be tweaked (or created from scratch) the New Org team is there to make it happen. My team has all expressed appreciation for how user friendly the system is, and how customized it is to meet our functional and operational needs.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New Org has enabled us to increase our efficiency-- cutting down the time between a client applying for assistance and getting the assistance they so eagerly need. In addition, New Org has transformed our ability to trust and represent data. We have great transparency into our current status, historical status, and overall efficiency of team members. This has influenced our business practices, freed up time to focus on other priority matters, and has allowed us to advocate for our program to different audiences. We also have over 300 partners who have accounts linked to our New Org and they have all expressed how user-friendly the process has been to train and utilize their versions of the New Org portal. Overall, the staff is happy, our partners are happy, and most importantly, our clients are able to access our resources more independently with the implementation of New Org. For instance, in prior years, more than 40% of clients had to seek in-person application support, where as this year so far, 75% of users are applying independently online. This is a huge shift in the ability to access resources more quickly. We also have several restricted/ niche grants that have to be spent down on specific populations or areas. Previously, we had no insight to these funds or ability to prioritize spending based on restrictions or deadlines. New Org has completely changed that, allowing for accurate reporting, quick spend down, and ability to request additional funding more effectively.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

I like working with the support team at NewOrg and their willingness to help us shape the database to tell our stories and protect our information. I particularly appreciate Maria Thorne, our implementation and support specialist who has been with us since 2023. She really seeks to understand our agency and the work we do, and with that knowledge, she is able to make quality suggestions that make our work easier for staff and participants.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

There are things that could be more automated. Certain forms you can't make fields required on the internal side, which requires staff to be more careful because the system won't flag them if they overlook something. Also, email notifications for some forms are limited, so some workflows become a little tricky. Having some kind of third-party API integration could be cool.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NewOrg helps my agency understand the state of cases, pull reports with client data, and create dashboards for quick overviews.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

I find NewOrg to be very helpful due to its data migration and report creation services. It allows us to keep detailed and confidential client information securely. My favorite feature is the file share, which makes it easy to share or request documents from clients via text and email. This feature helps us track when something is shared, if the participant has opened it, and it stores everything in one place. I appreciate that NewOrg is more affordable and customizable compared to Bonterra. Additionally, the NewOrg Team was super helpful with training material and import, and being able to mirror most of the forms from Bonterra/Apricot was great.

I use NewOrg for data migration and report creation, which helps manage detailed and confidential client info. The file share feature lets us easily share documents, track access, and store them, enhancing our interaction with participants.

As a community-based organization, NewOrg staff have worked side by side with us to develop custom applications to implement mutiple community based programs and services. The customization has deeply improved our productivity and ability to serve.

I got confused trying to edit my dashboard- it feels a little complicated in this area

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NewOrg is allowing LSH to generate reports that are useful for us and our grant reporting. This helps our development, not only in grant reporting, but in finding and applying for other funding sources. We're able to go in to New Org and get the information we need quickly. It also helps our clinical teams track and report on trends related to our clients, and in the future, will allow us to report to Philadelphia's Office of Homeless Services around these trends and gaps in support.

NewOrg has great support and walked us through every step of the implementation process to make sure we were getting what we needed for both front line staff and reporting.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

Moving to a new system is always a challenge for staff and there is a learning curve, but NewOrg set us up with thorough instructions and ongoing real live human support.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NewOrg helped us bridge the divide between program implementation needs, funding and contract requirements and building in organizational dreams/learning culture features that we were unable to get from our previous client management system.

I like that everyone has their own profile, because it makes it easy to keep track of each person and have all their information in one place.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

I don’t love the overall design; it can feel overwhelming with all the drop-downs and boxes. I wish it were easier to navigate and felt warmer and more inviting.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NewOrg makes it much easier to manage big tasks, like sending forms to all of our members at once and then tracking each person’s completion status through their individual profile. That’s been a huge help for us, and honestly a real breath of fresh air when we’re handling something important across a large membership.

Overall, NewOrg has increased our organizational capacity and helped users become more efficient with reporting, which allows them to spend more time supporting clients and focusing on their programming. In addition, being able to access real-time data through reports to track not only clients, but also users, has been crucial for our organization.

The interface feels dated, and I end up with a lot of tabs open when using the system.

NewOrg is user friendly. Implementation went smoothly. The team was responsive and helpful in customizing the solution for us.

As with any software, there are some limitations in reporting. However, the implementation team was able to meet most of our very specific needs.

NewOrg is automating some systems in terms of eligibility and information population. It is allowing multiple users access to the data simultaneously. And it is providing custom reporting to meet our logistical needs and help us prepare for future events.

**What do you like best about NewOrg?**

It has the capacity to handle large volumes of document attachments, and once you know the system, information is relatively easy to find. The support team is also amazing. They helped me build new reports to help me with quarterly grant reporting, and that saved me a lot of time.

NewOrg has replaced our filing cabinet and is our historical library, as well as a common database among different departments. Having a centralized location for our data is essential to my role as a grant coordinator.

The individualized support to make sure our workflow made sense for our department and for others in our multi-service agency.

**What do you dislike about NewOrg?**

NewOrg isn't able to make certain fields required. Part of this is because we're a multi-service agency and it would impact the other departments.

**What problems is NewOrg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our departments is currently funded by a lot of different funding streams. NewOrg helped us developed a workflow that is easy for middle managers to use and more importantly, can meet funder and reporting requirments.
