Loopio makes it easy to search content, prepend and append answers, and tailor and review content to keep it fresh and relevant. The import feature works well and consistently uploads what I choose each time. We use Loopio frequently to manage our proposal operations and it's easy to assign sections to other users or guests. Loopio was reasonably easy to implement, and in 10 months of use we have not needed to contact customer support with any issues. I greatly appreciate Loopio because it is simple and user-friendly. The platform effectively supports me in the structured processing of Request for Proposals (RFPs), allowing me to organize my tasks better. I find the response fields particularly helpful, as they significantly simplify the editing and submission of requests. Loopio has been a game-changer for me as a Bid Manager. It’s intuitive, easy to navigate, and packed with helpful resources—including a solid knowledge base with video guides that make it simple to find exactly what you need.

I primarily use Loopio for managing our content library and occasionally for running RFP projects.

Library Management

The content library is one of Loopio’s strongest features. Uploading bulk content is quick and seamless thanks to their template-based system. The search functionality is smart and flexible—you can search by keywords, full questions, tags, or even answers. It doesn’t get tripped up by phrasing, which saves a lot of time. I also really appreciate the ability to filter by categories and subcategories, which helps keep everything organized. One of my favorite features is being able to search for answers from past projects—it’s incredibly useful.

RFP Project Tool

When it comes to managing RFPs, Loopio really shines. The progress bar is a standout feature—it gives you a clear view of what’s been answered, reviewed, or still needs attention, either by section or across the entire RFP. Importing RFPs is fast and straightforward, which makes the whole process much more efficient and less stressful.

There’s not much I dislike about Loopio. The only thing that can be a bit frustrating is managing licenses—specifically, deciding who can participate in a project. But to be fair, that’s more about how many licenses your company has rather than an issue with the platform itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The library function and that you can assign sections to different colleagues.

The fact that you can upload a spreadsheet and that you can then download it without having to copy and paste. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest issue for me is that sometimes I work with RFPs that come in PDF or Word formats, these are not very well recognized in the system and it creates a lot of issues, so end up working on the requirements outside of Loopio.

Then if you import an Excel spreadsheet this can be mapped a lot easier, but if the sheet is more complex the mapping can be very hard and doesn't always work very well.

Starting as a user, I've become an administrator over the years, and Loopio has become an integral part of my work life. What I like about Loopio

- Ease of use (UI).

- Ability to answer lots of questions on the go.

- Enhanced Library features and the ability to search past projects, which were missing in the past.

- Loopio's customer support has been great.

- Integration abilities with other software like Slack Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are any major complaints about Loopio, but a few I would like to be better are

- Library Management, especially the ability to identify duplicates, which is okayish at the moment.

I love that we can all have just one place to store the knowledge of the company. They have gotten better at adding more settings that you can apply to your projects. Some features differentiate Loopio from the competition!

Everyone, no matter what team they're in, product, management, support, sees value in using loopio for our day to day activities. It's also important to note that you don't even need a tutorial to go aroudn loopio, it's that easy!

Would be super nice to have more integrations with other applications and would like to be able to dive deeper into the data without a restriction. Currently, only if you're seeting up your own API you can take the data out of loopio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The review cycle, especially when it has multiple reviewers. When someone leaves the company, it is a pain to remove the person out or even edit the review path. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is so easy to use, making responding to tender questions so much faster and accurate and the available collaboration is just so good for our bid team. I use it every day to respond to tenders or update the library.
