Implementing LinkSquares over 2 years ago as our company's CLM Center of Excellence (CoE) has significantly improved our operations in the Legal department. Thanks to LinkSquares, we've successfully reduced the unwanted noise that previously disrupted our workflow. Our attorneys, paralegals, and contract administrators can now focus on legal work that directly impacts our revenue, instead of spending valuable time resolving misunderstandings. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the collaborative efforts of our Procurement, Partnership, and Strategy teams. By streamlining their communication with Legal via LinkSquares, we have created a more efficient and effective service that allows our Legal team to better support cross-functional teams. In the Finalize tool, some automation should be optional. For example, if no approver has been assigned, it should not go to "Ready for signature" status. The status should include one or two different options for "Internal Review" to help keep metrics on which internal team has the contract. Given that it is a Contract Management tool, it is most likely used by Legal Teams. However, the larger the company, the less contact the Legal team has with counterparties.
