**What do you like best about Kali?**

Kali Linux is a powerful and versatile penetration-testing platform that stands out in cybersecurity. Its intuitive UI/UX improves the overall experience and makes it approachable for both beginners and experienced users. It comes preloaded with a broad suite of security tools and integrates smoothly with various applications, which helps streamline day-to-day workflows. Performance is solid and reliable, supporting efficient vulnerability assessments and exploitation testing.

As a free and open-source distribution, it delivers excellent ROI by helping organizations strengthen their security posture without high costs. Community support is also a major plus, with plenty of resources available for onboarding and troubleshooting. Although it isn’t AI-driven, Kali’s extensive toolset still enables users to stay ahead of threats effectively.

**What do you dislike about Kali?**

While Kali Linux is a powerful tool for penetration testing, it also comes with a few drawbacks.

First, the learning curve can be steep. The wide range of tools and features may feel overwhelming for beginners, and it often takes significant time and effort to become comfortable using them effectively.

Second, it isn’t always the most user-friendly option. Compared with some other security distributions, Kali can be harder to navigate—especially for people who are new to Linux or not used to working in a command-line environment.

There can also be stability or performance concerns. Some users may run into occasional issues, particularly when relying on tools that are still in development.

Finally, Kali isn’t really designed for everyday use. Because it’s optimized for penetration testing and security-focused tasks, it may be less suitable as a general-purpose operating system.
