I like Folderit's OCR full-text search because it's shockingly good at reading text inside scanned documents and PDFs, making it easy for us to find exactly what we need without wasting time scrolling through folders. The audit trail and permission system are thorough yet simple, letting us set precise access controls and providing peace of mind with thorough logging. It helps us avoid the stress of unauthorized access and keeps us audit-ready. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, which meant our team didn't need extra IT help. Together, these features make our daily work fast and efficient while keeping us secure and accountable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've noticed that bulk actions can be slow or clunky at times, like moving many files at once, renaming multiple documents, or applying permissions to entire folders. It's not as fast or streamlined as in other cloud tools. It would be great to have faster bulk processing to save time for teams with large document libraries. Also, while the OCR is helpful, the search itself is still basic and lacks advanced filtering options like file type, date range, folder location, who last modified it, and document status. Partial and fuzzy matching could enhance search efficiency, as currently, you almost need the exact filename or keyword. Having the ability to save searches for things we'd use regularly, like 'all unsigned contracts' or 'client documents updated this month,' would prevent us from rebuilding the same searches daily. Lastly, being able to search within a specific folder instead of the entire library would definitely speed things up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
