"Great Automation for Teams, But Pacing Settings Need Improvement"
What do you like best about Fluency?

The automation is great when covering for employees that our out of office. It's nice knowing the pacing is set up in that way. I also like how you can group campaigns together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

The pacing settings are difficult. Google does daily pacing, I wish Fluency would allow daily pacing settings. I think the platform creates a lot more work to keep everything smooth, and errors can go on longer without being detected due to the automation.

I think Fluency would also be more helpful for large scale accounts with analysts making changes in platform. I have a bunch of small accounts and I run the campaigns currently without an analyst under me, it is easier for me to just manage in Google Ads. So that part might be a me problem haha! "Fluency is a lifesaver when it comes to making your social campaigns stay on track"
What do you like best about Fluency?

Fluency makes sure all campaigns follow their pacing strategies and they don't overspend on all social platforms. It is very easy to use and I simply love the ability to generate a custom budget proposal for clients. You can go in to the platform, input your suggested budget increases and it will allow you to download a PDF that you can send to clients for review. Then when the client approves, we can go back into the platform and publish the changes, as they’ll be already inputted and ready to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

I like everything but if I have to note one thing is that I would like to be able to manage TikTok campaigns through Fluency sometime in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Cross-Platform Ad Data Viewing with Simple Filters"
What do you like best about Fluency?

What I appreciate about Fluency is that it allows you to view your ad data across different platforms. You simply need to use the filter to select the platform you want to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

In my experience, there is no option to bulk download the keyword report when it covers multiple campaigns. As a result, I have to export the keyword report for each campaign individually and then manually combine them, which is quite time-consuming. Additionally, there is no product report feature similar to what Google Ads offers. We are still encountering challenges with the Ad review process. I hope these aspects will be improved so that the platform can offer features more in line with what is already available elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for marketers"
What do you like best about Fluency?

What I like best about Fluency is its seamless automation engine that’s specifically built for high-volume, multi-location businesses. It allows us to scale localized digital marketing campaigns across hundreds of locations with a high level of consistency and efficiency. The templating system is robust, making it easy to maintain brand control while still allowing for customization at the local level. Also, the integration with platforms like Google Ads and Meta is incredibly smooth, which saves our team hours of manual work each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

While Fluency is powerful, one area that could be improved is the learning curve for new users. The platform offers a lot of advanced features, but it can be overwhelming at first without proper onboarding or documentation. Additionally, while the automation is strong, more granular reporting and analytics capabilities—especially visual dashboards—would make it easier to evaluate performance at both macro and micro levels. Some occasional delays in syncing data with ad platforms have also been a minor challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mike Lane of Fluency

Hi Juan, thank you for the thoughtful and detailed feedback—it’s great to hear that Fluency’s automation and templating are helping you scale while maintaining consistency and efficiency. We also appreciate your note on the learning curve; to support users at all levels, our learning team recently launched Fluency Academy, designed to help both new and experienced users get the most out of the platform - we invite you and your team to check it out! Thanks again for your feedback!

"Pluses & Minuses"
What do you like best about Fluency?

Budget management tools. Easy pause / enable scheduling. Mass edits via the download tool. Blueprints when specific formatting is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

Lag between Fluency features & Facebook features, often unavoidable with how quickly things change.

The fact that some items have to be edited directly in Fluency, rather than pulled in from Facebook & locked in place (ex. audiences, locations). Location targeting in general is a bit messy.

Why can't I edit multiple ads at once, the way I can in Facebook? This feels pretty basic.

My team is not a fan of the new notifications set-up. It makes it harder to tell which notifications need attention vs. which ones are all muted.

Customer support has gone downhill over the past several months. We had a few superstars (ex. Nate, Peter) who were quick to respond, friendly, and knowledgeable. I used to praise Fluency Support. In contrast, Mark is slow to respond, far more likely to give brush off answers, and will often ignore replies on open support tickets after he gave one unhelpful answer. "Efficient Budget Pacing with Strong Onboarding Support"
What do you like best about Fluency?

I really value Fluency's ability to streamline budget pacing, which has significantly saved us time, allowing us to focus on optimizing other aspects of our projects. The platform's user-friendly design makes it simple to manage all of my accounts in one place and monitor their performance. Fluency's error notifications and the convenient notifications bar are incredibly useful for staying on top of any issues. Additionally, the different user interfaces make navigating the platform intuitive. The onboarding process was smooth and informative, with the team providing ample support through meetings on setting up accounts and using its features effectively. What truly sets Fluency apart is its extensive capabilities, which seem equipped to address all our operational pain points, contributing to a seamless workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

I find the blueprints feature in Fluency complex, particularly as we're still trying to iron out how to best build campaigns. Dealing with tags, account tags, and blueprint tags adds to the complexity, making it challenging to fully utilize the feature effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Search & Social Performance Strategies experience"
What do you like best about Fluency?

- The pacing feature. I get to see how each campaign(s) are performing MoM.

- We got see the overall performance of the shared budgets. Something Google only provides with filters.

- The notifications are great, but there is still room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

- I would like to see a feature at the account list and account level. Where you can see any notifications of issue that become present.

- Campaign stopped spending or drop in performance notifications need to be shows in real-time or at least one day notice.

- There need to be a feature that you can update assets in bulk. For example, there is still no feature that allows us to update sitelinks in bulk. Which would be a huge help.

- There need to be a feature at the within the account that shows the customer support ticket history.

- There also need to be a feature that shows you the bulk receipts at the account level, and allows the easy to cancel them if necessary.

- It crashes too much recently. That needs to be solved.

- Sometimes the pull from partners action delays and times hours. That is not great when we need to close tasks/cases. I loose confidence on my changes reverting.

- The Muse AI to troubleshoot needs to be more specific on what to look for when solving an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fluency: Streamlined Campaign Management, Needs 24/7 Availability"
What do you like best about Fluency?

I love how Fluency dramatically simplifies campaign management for me at Microsoft and Google by automating the process and allowing us to pace campaigns without manual intervention. The interface, admittedly initially challenging, becomes very easy and intuitive with use, which is great. The blueprint creation and settings replicator features stand out as exceptionally useful, especially in saving time by automating campaign types and making it easy to replicate bidding strategies and location targeting efficiently. These capabilities have enabled us to manage campaigns without needing to create them manually, just flipping a switch. The platform's offerings and the ability to save time while enhancing campaign pacing are invaluable. Overall, Fluency's platform is comprehensive and compelling enough that I would definitely choose it again, reflecting a perfect recommendation likelihood of ten out of ten. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

I don't like that the software shuts down for a couple of hours around 10 PM to midnight PST, which could be due to maintenance. This downtime is inconvenient for me, as I often work late at night and would appreciate the software being available 24/7, or pushing back the maintenance window to 2/3am. Extending the availability into the early morning hours would be beneficial for anyone working late. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fluency is the Solution for Enterprise Scaling"
What do you like best about Fluency?

RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is THE feature for this platform. It allows users to build blueprints for repeatable processes that save time without QA concerns. If your company specializes in a particular vertical or verticals, this platform would allow 2-3x the workload per account owner/ analyst. I, alongside my entire department, use this platform throughout the day, 5 days a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

Feature requests are not guaranteed. There needs to be a large enough adoption for clients to service requests. This isn't a deal breaker as they support virtually all standard features you would find in Google or Meta platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fluency - Social Media Analyst"
What do you like best about Fluency?

The adoption of Fluency in our department has been beneficial and has cut time on repetitive tasks like duplicating ads, managing limited-time offers, and adjusting budgets for rollover. Working in the automotive space means that we are constantly changing offers, and running expired ones can be detrimental. The broadcast feature has been a godsend in allowing us to schedule ad copy to expire when we need it to. Not having to duplicate ads monthly for 40+ accounts has given me so much time back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fluency?

We've encountered several issues, including ad sets randomly pausing, broadcast copy being incorrectly set as the always-on ad copy, and changes made in Fluency not syncing properly with Ads Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
