I rely on Eddy to streamline our core HR workflows at Pinnacle Tech Solutions, making employee onboarding quick and paperless. I appreciate its time-off and PTO tracking features, which keep our development sprints on schedule. I find it valuable that Eddy centralizes employee records, HR documents, and compliance checks in one intuitive platform, simplifying access and management for our team. What I appreciate most about Eddy is its simplicity and focus on small-to-mid-sized tech teams. Its interface is clean and fast, and it doesn't overwhelm with unnecessary features. The time-off and PTO workflow is especially smooth, making employee requests and management approvals efficient. Onboarding new developers is drastically easier with digital paperwork and document signing all in one place. Eddy feels built for people who write code, not just HR professionals. The initial setup was straightforward and fast, which was great for our tech-focused team.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

First, its integration with developer tools like Slack, GitHub, and our project management software is basic and requires manual data entry instead of automatic syncing. Custom reporting is also limited—we can’t easily generate tailored reports for team turnover or PTO patterns tied to sprints. Localization and regional compliance settings aren’t flexible enough for cross-state hiring, and there’s no native support for developer-specific onboarding items like equipment tracking or access provisioning. The mobile experience feels simplified, lacking key desktop features. Additionally, customer support response times can be slow, and advanced automation for recurring HR tasks is missing, forcing us to use manual workarounds that reduce efficiency.

Eddy is super user-friendly and keeps us in compliance. I absolutely love the ready-to-go integrations that they offer. We've partnered with other vendors (like 401Go) who integrate directly into our Eddy platform. Makes things very efficient. 100% pleased with our decision to move to Eddy.

Lauren is amazing and support questions are handled almost immediately. Very impressive level of customer service.

The onboarding process. It is so automated and saves me a ton of time when we onboard a new person. I look forward to adding to it continually and making our onboarding process even more robust leveraging Eddy's system.

It is a little pricey I will say. I do think you get what you pay for, but that's the only negative I can really think of.

The onboarding packets and its easy customization is a true life saver for onboarding new hires.  I appreciate being able to customize any document into a fillable text and/or signable document.  The appearance of the finished product is neater looking than using other document signing software.  It's nice for each employee to have their own profile that they can update or make changes to.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

One downside is overall the monthly cost.  With other software you pay a price to send the documents and there's no continuing cost.  We have discussed cutting Eddy out as we have to decide is it a necessity - or a nicety?

I would like to see a way to download all of an employee's documents in one chunk rather than individual downloads.

I like having my W2 online. It's easy to access and update.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

Not having a clear visual of how much paid time I have clocked in a day. This is specific to the phone app. On a computer it shows the overall total, with the paid time separate, but on the phone app it only shows the overall, and I have to do the math to subtract break/meal time. Honestly, on the green clock out button, I wish it only showed the paid time I've clocked instead of the overall. I don't really care about the time I was not clock in, only the time I was.

Good software for the company I work for, and it has allowed them to integrate direct deposit, which they were not using before they got on Eddy.

As a customer of Eddy.com, I have consistently been impressed by their exceptional customer service. The team they have assembled at Eddy is everything you would hope to find as a customer - polite, friendly and relatable, all while maintaining a professional profile.  When team members who are well-versed and knowledgeable, whether the topic be technical or business-related(ie., navigating the online platform/app and onboarding guidance), are confident while also maintaining a high level of approachability, it creates an environment where customers feel supported, valued, and empowered to effectively address any challenges. Whatever your goal is, it's Eddy's goal, and there's a whole team of people to back you up and help you get there!

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

While my experience with Eddy.com has been overwhelmingly positive, it would be an added bonus if certain featuers of their platform which are not relevant to my needs (ie., payroll and hours)  could be removed with an interface customization option.

It cuts down on so much time and digital paperwork when it comes to onboarding.  Everything from posting and editing job ads, promoting them, pausing, etc. all from one platform is a massive advantage in the hiring process.

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

When I was starting my business, I got an outrageous quote from a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) to run my payroll. As a good procurement professional, I did some extensive research on the industry, and Eddy stood out as the favorite from a healthy field of competitors. From the first call until today, they continue to deliver on their promise to make payroll (and more!) simple and easy. The fact that I can manage payroll so easily and cost-effectively is a definite thing to love about about. BUT what I like best about Eddy is that they are large enough to have an incredibly professional product, and small enough to be able to take calls from a small user like me and implement changes that I need for my business. Their entire team, from Lauren to Tarey to Adam, is incredibly responsive, professional, and friendly!

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

The only small dislike I have about Eddy is that as a young company that is still building and perfecting their solution, they will occasionally have a simple bug in the system that prevents me from getting something done immediately (as a new business owner, I can understand how this happens!). They are always incredibly responsive and I can usually get any small issues resolved in a matter of hours.

They are the "everything HR" platform for my small business.

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

Almost ready to "go live" with our first payroll, and the entire process has been a relative breeze.  The set-up is fairly do-it-yourself, and while that might sound intimidating, the actual experience is anything but.  I've quickly received effective support and assistance when I've needed it.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

Certain aspects of the set-up haven't exactly fit our needs.  (e.g. timekeeping, PTO)  In those cases, Eddy's engineers have either worked (quickly!) to develop something new, or we've been able to adapt to their system paramenters.  The latter might not work for all companies, but we have the advantage of being relatively small with flexible ownership.

**What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For one, we're going to experience a major cost savings.  Otherwise, our biggest difficuly about our current HRIS vendor is a lack of responsiveness.  So far, Eddy is a 180 degree change, and that is AFTER we signed up, so, not just part of a sales pitch.

Don't like that I can not log my work hours earlier in the week when I know my scheduled hours. Easy to forget to log them. Then the system cuts me off from adding them before Sunday.

Eddy has been an awesome tool that we have added to our business. I love how user-friendly they are. They are priced well for the product they offer.

One downside I see in the product would be, an employee is able to request more PTO time then they have in their "bank" and if you aren't paying attention and it gets approved, the employee can end up getting more than they actually should.

Eddy is so easy to use from the admin interface to the employee interface. Eddy has already streamlined so many HR processes for our team.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

There are some wish list items that I wish Eddy had, including a way to manage I9 compliance in the platform, for example, connected to e-verify for I9 submissions. Additionally, I wish there was a training content library that was customizable and available included in pricing, I would even pay additional pricing for this feature.

Onboarding has become a breeze, before we used a pen and paper onboarding program. This caused retention issues and caused errors with missing signatures and compliance.

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

Our company has been using Eddy for several years now. Every year it gets better and they are so fast to respond anytime I have a question or have an issue. In reality, the issues are always minor, and are ALWAYS quickly resolved. My best experience has been with our rep Lauren. She is extremely helpful and has save my bacon more times than I can count! Furthermore, their features all under one roof are SO convenient! A few examples, policies are so easy to set up! I love the Eddy Hiring feature! It makes the process from sourcing to onboarding so seemless!  If you're looking for a responsive and helpful team, not to mention an incredible product, Eddy is the product to go with!

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

The only issue I've had with Eddy is the inability to create custom reports on my own. The majority of what I have needed has been found in their canned reports, but every once in a while it would be nice to be able to create something a little more custom for my needs.

**What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything is under one roof! We switched from Kronos to EddyHR about 3 years ago and we have never looked back. Everything is intuitive and easy to use. It's not easy to get confused when using the product. It all flows so easily. We recently started using their native payroll feature and it is so much easier than programs I have used in past. I have the ability to manage our own payroll, or if I prefer, I can have Eddy assist me in doing so. It's a rarity that I need any help or have any issues with the feature. The hiring feature has been amazing! I built my own hiring page, and while what I have done is nothing fancy, it definitely checks every box that I need. Through our previous ATS we would have less than 10 applicants apply for most positions. Using EddyHR's hiring piece we've received SO MANY more applicants, and they've been quality applicants. I don't know what Eddy does differently, but it has been a homerun!

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

I like the user-friendly-ness of it all, if I'm being honest. Both for employees and for employers- Eddy makes everything SO much simpler in the long run. Another great part? If you email the last person you spoke with from Eddy asking for help (even if that employee is in a new position or left the company), a customer support agent will still reach out in LESS than your typical 24-48 hours. Usually, my requests are not that urgent, but it is nice to know that they are there when I do need them, which is so hard to find. Our staff uses Eddy daily, and we love the platform. So thankful for Eddy!

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

I think there's only one thing- which we unfortunately cannot work around (which I totally understand!) 
If I "terminate" an employee with a particular email, and say I hire another employee that will have the same email (due to them having the same name), my business is small enough that we wipe that original email and give the incoming email to the new hire. For example, let's say I hire a "david@kosmikbrands.com", and then after a few years, he leaves, but we hire ANOTHER "david@kosmikbrands.com." 
Eddy will not allow us to create another profile using the same email. I understand why we cannot do that, but we had two instances this past month where we initially needed to have that happen.

**What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring, job posting, onboarding, and time tracking (for one employee currently). This makes life so much easier! We find ourselves expanding as a company faster than we thought we might, so we are CONSTANTLY posting and re-opening old jobs. This alone could previously take an hour or two just posting that position to different job sites. Some of those sites charge to post, and with Eddy, we have an "all-in-one" cost. Makes life SO much easier. Also- the signable documents! I know there are platforms like DocuSign out there, but again... having it looped into one entire program makes it so much easier!

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

This software is took the place of two other softwares we were using and it's way easier to navigate and complete the tasks I have.  It has a slick and clean look and is actually saving me money from what I was paying.  It's easy to pay my employees / contractors.  It makes paying and filing taxes simple and now I can keep track of vacation days available, and used, without having to go in and manually update an excel spreadsheet.

I don't have any dislikes that I've seen yet.

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

The flow of the platform is great. I like the encorporation of playfulness into everything, including the emoji's, confetti when you hire a new employee, and language. It makes it fun! The customer support staff has been quick to troubleshoot most of the issues I have. The best part has been the hiring feature. It has helped us with posting a job, screening the right canditates and onboarding our new employees. Such a tremendous help!🙏😊

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

My communication with a few people on the support team could be improved. I never received a follow up email on an issue I addressed a couple of times. The issue has recently been resolved, which I was happy about.

Also, I have trouble navigating on the platform sometimes. It would be nice if there was a help button or something to direct me to the help page on the menu in the Eddy portal.

The software is easy to use and easy to train. Eddy allows an employees information to be put in one place and you are also able to track the hours you have worked and this helps in transparency during payroll period.

I would like to see a organisation chart build out. Eddy does not have a chatting platform that would require employees chat with the support team members or communicate with the HR. also eddy doesnt record hours on holidays and this makes it difficult when making payments as they have to do it manually or in some cases they miss payment for that day.

Eddy is helping me to be paid accordingly with the time i have worked for the whole month, compared in the past we had a lot of challenges with my Boss. I enjoy the easiness of keeping track of everything.  We use it to clock in and out and keep track of hourly employees.  My favorite part is the training portion that allows me to track license and liabliity insurance expirations with documentation.  We use it to keep track of birthdays.   It is especially helpful in onboarding and keeping track of new employees and their accrediations and required documents.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

Everything I have disliked about Eddy, the wonderful people at Eddy have fixed.  They are a great group of people to work with.

**Recommendations to others considering Eddy:**

I don't use every aspect of Eddy.  What I use, I enjoy.   Opportunities to improve are always appreciated by Eddy and have made my job easier.

**What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Make sure the Therapists license and liablity insurance do not expire.  A top priority.   
Time Tracking for Hourly employees. Not having to keep my hours by jotting them in a notebook.
Admin notes - keeping notes of credentialling in insurance networks. 
Birthday reminders.
Onboarding new employees and all the documentation that requires.

I love that PTO tracking, time tracking, employee files, payroll are all in one application.  Keeping track of employee documents and training is so easy and the new ability to separate documents into secure folders is great!  Customer support has been great through implementation and very attentive and response to all questions/concerns.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

Which there was a feature for managers to approve pay increases so I could completely eliminate paper, though they did say they would enter an enhancement request for that feature.

**What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use makes processing payroll simple.  Having time tracking and time off all in the same system as payroll eliminates the need to export/import files.  Giving mangers access to specifc document folders also eliminates the need for me to constantly be sending documents - they already have access.

**What do you like best about Eddy?**

Eddy has definitely made my life easier through automatic tracking of training requirements for the hospital employees I help administer. They are a great alternative with a wonderful price point that was a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger, more well-known HRIS platforms.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

The hospital has been enrolled in Eddy for just about one year now and in that time, I have had several account managers and there has been absolutely no communication from the company on who to contact when they are replaced. I also can't change who is responsible for signatures once docs have been sent out.

**What problems is Eddy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a number of annual trainings that are required that used to require a large number of man hours to track individually for each employee in the organization. Thanks to Eddy, the process has become automated. I just wish the employee received alerts when their trainings were coming due.

PayRoll Feature is easy but can get a little tricky for a newbie.

Not able to submitt multiple time off requests in 1 day. 
Not able to put in Notes for Contractor Pay
No able to quickly see how long someone took for lunch.
Not able to edit log In/Out time (real time) until the "time block" is completed. - this is a bit frustrating.
Not able to have an auto lunch dedcution enabled
No Audit trail for corrections made to time (would like to have Employee approve chage for accoutability or update their adjustments with Mgr. approval)
No Time Rounding feature "Breakpoint"  ( Ex. clock in at 8:07, rounds to 8:15 )
Call Center Hours do not match our working hours
Having to use workarounds when I want to place notes under time entries, (there should be an option to put notes whenever I want)
Would like to see Employee Pay Rate under that tab without having to search for it.
Under Time Tracking would like the ability to see the weeks time for all below it, to be aware of who is coming in late.
Trainings - Check box for Required vs informational - to be able to keep track of that (without having to create it)

Ability to see internal payroll has been an eye opener! It's nice to be able to see deductions, and schedule them.

Eddy is so great and extremely user friendly! It allows us to house everything in one place with very easy access for our staff. Also love that our applicant tracking is right there to just move over a candidate's information if they are hired.

They are still a growing company so there are some features that don't exists BUT the team is so great about listening to customer needs and trying to implement them into their software in future updates

We used to have 4 or more programs that we were using for applicant tracking, new hires onboarding, storing employee documents etc. With Eddy everything is finally in one place and employees have access to all of their own records and can update things like address or phone numbers or emergency contacts all on their own.

Eddy is such a great platform for our HR management. It has cut down a lot of monotonous tasks with recruiting and really stream lined the process. It also has increased visability for our team with documentation and tasks. We are so greatful to have Eddy as our HR platform!

The biggest painpoints I had in Eddy I have worked with their developers to get resolved. It's been so helpful to be heard about our issues and real solutions presented. I always get excited when I see new update notifications on the  platform!

Love the ability to have all employee info in one place -- salary info, contact info, documents, HR notes, training docs, vacation/sick hours, hire date.  Payroll process is really easy.  It accomodates all types of extra pay situations and deduction situations.  Support is prompt and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

Reports have limited flexibility.  Would be great to pull payroll reports for a specific employee or select employees.  

Employee documents are not viewable by their direct manager.  I truly don't understand the logic of that.

Would be beneficial to be able to chat with Eddy support team members.

All employee info in one place and at our fingertips.  Easy to quickly access.

Eddy has made my work life a little easier! We recently changed payroll systems and were impressed with what we were shown. Transitioning to this system was sooo easy! It is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Eddy?**

The only downside to Eddy we have come across is that Eddy does not have the ability to direct deposit into an IRA account. Other than that, which was not a huge deal, we love Eddy!

We were having a little trouble with time tracking before Eddy. Since Eddy we have had nothing but smooth sailing! Eddy is really simple in the best way!
