This cloud-based sales tax automation platform aims to ensure customers accurately calculate, collect, and remit taxes to the correct authorities every time. Boasting 100+ years of tax research experience, CCH SureTax assures customers stay on top of constant tax legislation changes. The sales and use tax rates and rules get automatically updated, reflecting 100,000+ annual changes for 24,000+ authorities in the US and Canada. With a single login, customers can look up rates and taxability for a particular product, and access their Calculations, Returns, Reporting, and Exemption Certificate Management (ECM) modules. We like that we can share 'binders' between the various accounting/auditing firms. You can attach PDF's and other files right into the company accounting file which they call a 'binder'. Under the flashy new screens lies a dated sub-system that still has old options that support tells you not to turn on (why don't they developers just remove them???). The CCH software, specifically their Axcess package is probably still the best integrated tax package in the industry. It's cloud hosted, and it is relatively fast.
