The product approval model could use some work for special use cases like ours, BUT! Their support team offered to take over the lift while they do dev to improve it for us, which is amazing! We never knew how much she was going to charge and because we lacked oversight, we never quite knew which state sales tax would be drafted or when. They claimed to be working on it but never gave me an update after 1+ month and ignored my follow up email. Their ads keep showing up in my social media and kept reminding me about being ghosted. I am used to working with platforms that are marketplace facilitators, so when I wanted to grow my website more, I had no idea everything that went into taking care of sales tax on your own. I am able to take back more control of my business and not have to worry if I am missing something as we grow. It was so easy to integrate with my boutique via Shopify and the process has just been seamless so far. It is monitoring my shop 24/7 and I never have to worry that something is falling through the cracks. **What do you dislike about Kintsugi?** I honestly have not experienced any downsides. There is always a learning curve when it comes to learning a new platform but it was very user friendly and straight forward and anything I didn't understand fully, the customer support team was on it immediately. **What problems is Kintsugi solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am trying to grow my business outside of platforms like TikTok shop and take back more control. The problem I came across was that TikTok shop is a marketplace facilitator, so it does all of the sales tax portion for you. It collects the sales tax from purchases and remits it for you and there really is nothing you have to do. When I started shifting my business to my website, I had to do all of that and I did not realize everything that went into it, nor do I understand the majority of it. Kintsugi does all of it for me, makes sure I am covered in the locations I need to be registered in and continues to monitor for when I may need to get compliant in another state.
