What do you like best about VAT IT Reclaim?

What I like most about VAT IT Reclaim is the level of service we receive from our account contact. She is extremely efficient, responsive, and genuinely helpful: whenever we have a question or run into an issue, she gets back to us quickly and resolves it without us needing to chase. The entire reclaim process feels well managed and low-effort on our side, which is especially important for a small finance team handling VAT across several countries. What do you dislike about VAT IT Reclaim?

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike. If anything, the reclaim timelines depend on each country’s tax authority, so refunds can take a while to come through, but that’s outside VAT IT’s control and they keep us informed along the way. What problems is VAT IT Reclaim solving and how is that benefiting you?

VAT IT handles the recovery of foreign VAT we incur on business expenses abroad, such as travel, events and services in other EU countries. Doing this ourselves would mean dealing with different rules, forms, deadlines and languages for each country, which isn’t realistic for a lean finance team. With VAT IT, we recover VAT that we would otherwise likely leave on the table, without spending internal time on it.
