I have used the Paddle service as both a consumer (purchasing software through the platform) and a developer (using Paddle for my own website checkout). My experience from both sides of the fence has been excellent. The team just goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. A while ago, I gave them some feedback on the UI. Now, in my experience, most companies (if they reply at all) will send a cut-and-paste response like, 'We appreciate your feedback and will pass it on to the team.' Not these guys… They sent a personal reply. Their UI team leader even gave up some of his time personally to walk me through improvements they are working on and invite further feedback. And I’m just a small customer—a tiny drop in the ocean—yet they listened, and talked with me like I was running a multi-million dollar company. What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you? As a software developer and seller, the best thing about the platform is that I don't have to worry about all the details. Things like foreign currencies and international taxes are all handled automatically, which means I'm legally compliant (wonderful!) but without all the headaches of managing that stuff myself.
