What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

If you are looking for the best CRM that easily integrates with all the other platforms that you want to use - wordpress, jotform, thinkific - I am a coach, this is the platform. It also seamlessly integrates with payment platforms like paypal, square and stripe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

It is the MOST expensive CRM I have found out there, I wish it wasn't so pricey, but I stay with it because of the simplicity it affords you in connecting and making things work "automatically" plus I hate Zapier and other platforms where it takes 2-3 steps to connect something, as something ALWAYS breaks. What problems is ActiveCampaign solving and how is that benefiting you?

When someone signs up on my website (Wordpress) or buys one of my products (square, shopify, thinkific) everything can be automated. The best feature, my quiz that is hosted on jotform is submitted and beautifully connects an automated email series to the person show submitted the quiz! "Prices Just Keep Going Up"

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign have inceased the price on us almost 100% over the past 3 years. I just took the time to have a Zoom call and calmly lay out why this doesn't work for us. Their response - to offer us a lower level of service for almost the same price. So if we downgrade, we get less for the same price. If we switch to monthly (so we can leave if we want to without being tied in for a year - there are no refunds) - you guessed it - we pay even more. I feel like we are being backed into a corner with the choice of pay up or change provider. The choice is not going to be to pay up. I have no confidence that prices won't continue to increase. This feels like classic VC ownership - squeeze more out of the customers and don't worry if they leave. Which is fine if their objective is to have a handful of customers left paying a small fortune. Do you want to be one of those customers? Trust has been damaged and becaues of that we now have to figure out where to move next, rather than focussing on our business.
