accessiBe’s best and main benefit is that it is an all-in-one accessibility solution. If you’ve never had to help a poor-sighted person use the internet, or you’re not visually impaired yourself, you’d never know that these issues exist. However, a large portion of internet users are either colorblind, or have other visual impairments that impede their ability to navigate the internet. This is bad for business! accessiBe has allowed us to cater to a new market, and has made our website totally accessible for all internet users. Did I mention that it does this automatically with no user input? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the cost is low, but it’s an annual commitment. I was able to justify it. I'd prefer a month to month contract. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy implementation and gets you up and running within minutes. It looks clean on our website and actually has a lot of options for users to use. The rep I spoke with was very knowledgeable and had a passion for helping businesses like ourselves. Our rep is also quick to reply, however, they did not know a question that I really needed answered after we signed up. But other than that, our rep did a great job. There are a few questions I had to implement something that my rep did not understand. This had to do with a website tweak that seemed pretty simple that was recommended by our attorney. Everything else is pretty hands off and seems straight to the point. We had to pay for the next package up from the basic due to being over a few pages. Wish there was a package in between the basic and middle package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
AccessiBe was incredibly easy to setup and install on my website. I couldn't believe what all the software intuitively corrected. Additionally, the support team has been incredibly handy from our initial call all the way through installation and implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I tried to be ambitious and setup the tool without reading their kindly provided guides/instructions. As such, I spent a couple hours fixing ALT tags that I learned (and tested on another site) the software would have corrected for me. A minor user error that resulted in a HUGE win when I realized how intuitive the software actually was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
accessiBe allows visually disabled users to control their browsing experience, which makes the internet more open to us. accessiBe allows impaired users to adjust their website experience. So if a user is color-blind, they can adjust the colors to a color-blind friendly profile. The same goes for epileptics, near/far sighted people, and more. For the power of the plugin, the plugin is rather lightweight on loading times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, accessiBe's team is always updating the plugin so I haven't yet run into any issues. I did have one issue with setup, but the accessiBe team was able to respond to my query in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What we like best about accessiBe is the easy of use and how quickly errors are found and corrected. It keeps us in compliance without a bunch of extra work on our part. Th other nice thing about AccessiBe is there is no learning curve. It is a very straightforward platform and the customer service team was there for us if we needed them. As a side note: we really only needed the customer service team through the demo process so we understood where our lack of accessible was.
We also really liked the no obligation demo process. This part was quite shocking as we didn't realize our website was so unfriendly to our browsing impaired clients.
We were surprised to found out that many website providers, including ours, did not know how to make our website fully accessible...except to remove some of our pictures and content. Well...what's the point of having an awesome website made and created to then just remove some pictures and content. AccessiBe saved our pictures and content. So far, we haven't found anything that we dislike about it. The customer support is responsive when we need help. We have only used this on one website, so we aren't sure how it will work with other websites. If my memory serves me correctly, there is an additional fee to add another website. We have been using accessiBe for about two months and we haven't had any issues, but would update our review if we started to have issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my mind accessiBe is the perfect solution for website accessibility. Unlike their competitors, accessiBe lets the user customize their website viewing experience by adjusting almost every aspect on the website, from font size to contrast ratios. This is better than a "one size fits all" approach that they could have taken. accessiBe's cost is fine by me as well, I run a small operation so I am mindful of the costs, but this one is worth it.
Overall, really happy with accessiBe. It's saved me hours of development time on the frontend. Until you use it, you really don't understand how tough browsing the web can be for people who need these tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't had any major quips with accessiBe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are a hands-free solution. Instead of just doing an ADA audit like many others do, they provide the actual solution via their widget and backend technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their initial plan is $490/year for websites <1,000 pages. There are much smaller websites that could use their solution; they could have a more affordable <20 pages option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accessibe allows regular websites to become usable by disabled/impaired users. Most colorblind/hard of sight users have a hard time browsing the internet as their screen readers break with fancy websites. Accessibe helps to fix this by providing tailored profiles to various aliments, chosen by the user. You can use their audit tool to figure out if your website needs fixing.
There are several built in profiles for the major impairments, such as ADD and epilepsy. Otherwise, users are presented with a widget that allows them to customize the site to their needs. Personally, I think this is the right thing to do, and, it opens our potential client base to impaired users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More profiles would be better, although there are 4+ already, and as said above, users can customize their experience so maybe I'm being lazy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Before and after installation of Accessibe, you're able to get a website audit which highlights the areas that your website is lacking in. This is really handy to first tell if you need their tool (most websites need some updates) and second, where the issues are and how they can be fixed.
Accessibe then fixes the issues and allows users to set their own accessibility related settings via their widget, which is simple to use and install.
I think this is one of the better uses of AI, and the engine is quite powerful. Accessibe has some built in profiles which are handy. Color blindness, epilepsy etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More language support would be nice for our work in emerging markets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Accessibe's widget, our customers can change attributes of our website to better serve their individual needs. E.g., colour, font size, scaling, heading size. There is an ADHD mode & epilepsy mode, which I think are really nice touches. It's also compatible with JAWS, which helps people using screen readers. A virtual keyboard is an option too. The company has really considered almost all impaired usecases, and it shows in the product result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team hasn't reported any problems with Accessibe in the three months that we've been using it. If this changes, I'll edit the review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accessibe is extremely simple to integrate into almost any web-platform, which can't be said for most of these accessibility tools. The installation of Accessibe takes very little time and requires next to no technical knowledge, which is important, as I'm not a developer. The interface is well liked among a number of our users, and displayed languages can be customized.
We have been using Accessibe for months now without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no major problems with Accessibe that I have come across in my usage so far. Perhaps, the cost could be considered somewhat expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our attorney mentioned that a number of sites in our industry had been targeted by ADA compliance related suits, so naturally we turned to a solution. Accessibe was recommended to us and we're very happy with how it's turned out!
From no compliance to compliant, I believe the entire process took just over an hour. Which is super fast! Our tech team was on vacation the week we set this up, and the admin staff had no problems setting it up, so it is very very simple!
The regular audits are also really nice to see our compliance is sticking, and the tool alerts you to any issues that may arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nicer if the free trial period was longer so we could save some extra $$, but at $490/year the base plan is pretty okay price wise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clients can choose their own ADA settings in the on-screen "portal", which means there is no consultation needed as users can decide.
Implementation is a few lines of Javacript. There is a Wordpress plugin that makes it easy as well. The code goes between the body tags.
Colors can be changed to match the layout of the site.
Custom statements are provided on Accessibility and Feedback for users.
Mobile integration works well, but can be disabled if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The language support is good out of the box (20 languages) and caters to the major markets. It would be good if we could add "custom" translations for languages that aren't supported natively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The installation of accessiBe is probably the best thing about it. It takes about 5 minutes, and is extremely simple. I am not a developer and was able to follow the instructions without a single issue. After installation, accessiBe becomes a discreet plugin for your website. Users who need it are able to activate it to make your website more accessible, and it doesn't get in the way of non-impaired users. The pricing is fair for the product and is competitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it would be good if the widget used AI to figure out which users need it or don't, and was able to hide based on that. I realize this presents major technical challenges though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI of accessiBe is, I believe, one of its outstanding features. Extremely intuitive and easy to navigate. A definate plus for any accessible app or product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've never had any problems with accessiBe. My UX has been 100% good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am fond of its AI-powered management to make a site ADA and WCAG compliance. I have used a few other tools in the past, but accessiBe turned out the best among all of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish to have its deployment on many devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's straightforward to implement. It has kept lawsuits away from all our customers. The integration uses a widget, so little to no technical knowledge is required. They also provide great customer service and are always willing to help out demo the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing in particular. It's a robust solution that has proven to be very effective. Maybe their pricing model could be easier. Rather than taking into consideration how many pages they have, they could use a fixed price model that anyone can install directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
accessiBe made it really easy to become ADA Compliant for multiple websites that represent our company. With the help of our web developer, we became compliant in record time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of anything that I would say I dislike about accessiBe. The process was really easy to navigate through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's so easy to implement, even a non technical person could do it. It is also very simple and intuitive to use on the website itself. It settled a lawsuit for ADA compliance for a company that I worked for. The design is non intrusive and easy to find if you are looking for it. It also offers great functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited functionality in certain aspects, like the automatically generated OSR support is somewhat lacking. I also wish there was a way to export the website as a PDF through accessibee. The only other thing I noticed is that sometimes accessibee takes a little bit to laod and is sluggish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The plug and play nature of the platform makes it easy to offer a better experience to users that use assistive technologies. It had a powerful suite of options that improve the overall accessibility of your website without requiring code changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ultimately, the platform itself is a stepping stone towards compliance and delivering great experiences, but it doesn't address the root cause of these issues, which is typically code or template related. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to install plugin, it works like a charm on my WordPress sites. It's affordable and ADA compliant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything to complain, I was able to install the Wordpress plugin and make it work in just a few steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy and straight forward to install. We installed in our company's website close to 1 year ago and it has worked perfectly, without any problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far no issue at all. Perhaps the scroll bar at the right of the applet could be made more obvious, it seems to blend with the border of the box where selections are made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
