## UserWay Reviews
  ### 1. A practical solution for managing website accessibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara A. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay makes accessibility management feel much more approachable from an admin perspective. The implementation process was straightforward, and once the widget was active, it immediately began improving the overall accessibility of our site. I also appreciate having a central place to monitor accessibility status and make adjustments as needed, without having to rely on constant developer involvement.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Some features could use clearer explanations, especially for admins who aren’t deeply familiar with accessibility standards. The platform does a good job of highlighting issues, but adding more step-by-step guidance on how to resolve them would make the overall experience even better.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us address accessibility requirements in a structured, consistent way. Rather than manually checking for potential issues across the site, we can rely on the platform to flag the areas that need attention. This reduces compliance concerns and helps ensure the website stays usable for a broader audience. From an admin perspective, it saves time and makes ongoing accessibility management much more manageable.

  ### 2. Helpful accessibility platform that keeps admin work manageable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo S. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

As someone responsible for managing the website, I appreciate how UserWay simplifies accessibility oversight. The setup was quick, and once implemented, it started providing value almost immediately. The admin panel makes it easy to review accessibility insights, check progress, and adjust settings without needing constant technical support. It’s a practical solution that fits well into a busy admin workflow.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Some of the insights could be more detailed, especially when trying to prioritize which issues to tackle first. Also, for more complex pages or custom elements, you may still need developer involvement to fully resolve certain recommendations.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us maintain accessibility standards in a way that’s structured and efficient. It reduces the time and effort required to monitor compliance manually and gives us more confidence that our website is accessible to a wider range of users. For an admin, that translates into less stress and more control over an important aspect of site management.

  ### 3. Simple to manage and effective for ongoing accessibility oversight

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eron Q. | Web developer, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

As an admin, I really value how UserWay keeps accessibility management simple and organized. The interface is clean, and it’s easy to understand what needs attention and what’s already optimized. I especially like that many improvements run automatically in the background, which means I don’t have to constantly monitor the site to make sure standards are being met.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

In some cases, the platform points out issues without offering very detailed instructions on how to resolve them, which can require extra research or developer input. A bit more actionable guidance inside the dashboard would make it even more efficient.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us stay compliant with accessibility expectations while reducing the manual workload usually involved in monitoring and fixing issues. From an admin standpoint, it centralizes everything into one tool, saves time, and gives us confidence that we’re maintaining a more inclusive experience for our users.

  ### 4. Great balance between automation and admin control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** António R. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

What I like most as an admin is the balance UserWay provides between automation and control. It automates many accessibility improvements, but still gives me the ability to adjust settings and monitor performance when needed. The dashboard is intuitive, and I can quickly understand the site’s accessibility status without digging through complicated reports.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

For more advanced accessibility needs, the platform sometimes requires additional manual configuration or technical knowledge. It works great for most standard cases, but highly customized websites may still need extra attention outside the tool.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us manage accessibility in a structured and proactive way instead of reacting to issues after they appear. This reduces risk, saves administrative time, and makes it easier to maintain a website that’s usable for a broader audience. Overall, it simplifies what would otherwise be a complex responsibility for an admin.

  ### 5. Reliable accessibility tool that simplifies admin responsibilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João S. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

What I appreciate most as an admin is how straightforward UserWay makes accessibility management. The platform is easy to configure, and once it’s running, it handles a large portion of the work automatically. The dashboard is well organized and lets me quickly check accessibility status, adjust settings, and keep track of improvements without needing to constantly involve the development team.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

There’s a slight learning curve at the beginning, especially if you’re not familiar with accessibility terminology. Some advanced settings could also benefit from more detailed guidance or tooltips to help admins make informed decisions.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us stay on top of accessibility requirements while reducing the operational burden that usually comes with compliance. It allows us to manage accessibility proactively instead of reactively, which saves time, lowers risk, and ensures our website is more usable for a wider range of visitors.

  ### 6. Easy-to-manage accessibility solution with strong admin controls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo M. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

As an admin, I really appreciate how straightforward UserWay is to deploy and manage. The dashboard is clean, intuitive, and gives me full control over accessibility settings without requiring constant developer involvement. Features like automated scans, compliance reports, and widget customization make it easy to ensure our website stays aligned with accessibility standards. The setup process was quick, and ongoing management is minimal, which is a big plus from an administrative perspective.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Some of the more advanced accessibility fixes still require manual intervention or deeper technical knowledge, especially for complex layouts. Additionally, certain reports could be more detailed or easier to export for internal documentation and audits.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us address web accessibility and compliance concerns efficiently, reducing legal risk and improving inclusivity for all users. From an admin standpoint, it saves time by centralizing accessibility management in one platform and automating many tasks that would otherwise require ongoing manual checks or external consultants. This allows our team to focus on other priorities while maintaining a more accessible website.

  ### 7. Practical accessibility tool that’s manageable from an admin standpoint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** António F. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

What stands out to me as an admin is how little ongoing maintenance UserWay requires once it’s set up. The dashboard centralizes everything related to accessibility, from scans to basic compliance insights, which makes monitoring much easier. I also like the flexibility of the widget customization and the fact that updates and improvements happen automatically in the background.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Some accessibility recommendations feel a bit high-level and could include more concrete guidance for implementation. For larger or more complex websites, you still need developer support for certain fixes, which slightly reduces the “set it and forget it” feeling.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us proactively handle accessibility requirements and reduce compliance risks without adding significant admin overhead. It simplifies what would otherwise be a complex and ongoing responsibility, allowing us to maintain a more inclusive website while keeping administrative effort low.

  ### 8. Small feature that makes a big difference when browsing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria S. | Real Estate Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I really appreciate how the UserWay widget allows me to quickly adjust a website with minimal effort. I often use it to increase the font size or enhance the contrast, and it immediately makes the content much easier to read. The interface is straightforward and intuitive, so I never have to worry about figuring out how it works—it simply does exactly what I need.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

There’s hardly anything to complain about. Sometimes I find that I don’t make use of every feature, but that’s really just a matter of my own preferences rather than a problem with the widget itself.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool eliminates those small yet frustrating obstacles that often come up when browsing websites, such as hard-to-read text or cluttered layouts. The ability to quickly customize a page makes the browsing experience much more comfortable and pleasant. It’s one of those tools you truly come to value after you’ve started using it.

  ### 9. A simple but profound approach to providing accessibility with UserWay by the Administrator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João S. | Web developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay makes it easy for Administrators to set up accessibility solutions quickly. It took me only a few minutes to add the widget to our website and it started making things more accessible right away! The customisation options are easy to understand and provide us with the ability to customise the widget to our branding, as well as which features are available. What I also like about UserWay is that there is no need for me to maintain automated accessibility support as it runs in the background.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

As an Administrator, I don't think there are many disadvantages to using the platform, however there are still edge cases in need of manual checks, particularly on custom components, but that is an expectation of all accessibility solutions. Overall, the platform has been reliable and easy to manage.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay enables us to easily satisfy our accessibility compliance requirements without having to redesign our entire site or rely on ever-increasing external site assessments. This allows us to reduce our concerns related to compliance, save our developers time in the development of our site, and provide all visitors to our site with a greater level of accessibility. From an operational standpoint, we can spend more time on our content and growth while UserWay is taking care of the reliability and accessibility at the backend.

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay is super easy to setup and integrate with any website CMS or custom build. Their partner program is also nice to have for a website agency like ours where ADA compliance requests come in at different times for different clients.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

I dislike the price point - only because we hear contradicting information to what extent our clients are protected or covered for accessibility laws in their market and understanding if they are 100% covered by UserWay or not.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us make our Squarespace websites for clients - get ADA compliance and other accessibility standards and it only takes minutes to set up which is incredibly convenient for me and my team.

  ### 14. Seamless Integration and Stellar Support: Why UserWay Is a Must-Have for Any Website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia H. | Project Manager | Support Manager | Accounting Assistant , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

It's easy to implement, highly customizable, and designed to blend perfectly into your website without disrupting design or functionality. Whether you're a small business owner or managing enterprise-level operations, UserWay scales with your needs. When I have a question their customer support is just a click away & typically issues are resolved within a few minutes. I use Userway everyday on about 25 websites & my team & our customers can't say enough about how easy it is to integrate with!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

We have many sites on our account that I've customized the widget for & the "save to all" button is DANGEROUSLY close to the "save" button when I'm in a rush. I run the risk of applying new customizations to all of my sites with one click - eek! Maybe add an "are you sure" prompt when saving to all.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our clients can manage their content on their own in the content management system which puts them at risk for adding content that is not compliant over time. Integrating with Userway allows our clients to always have a 2nd pair of eyes on their content in order to keep it compliant for their users .

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We understand the importance of user-friendly integration and reliable support. We're continuously working to improve our platform and appreciate your input on the 'save to all' feature. We'll definitely take your suggestion into consideration for future updates.

  ### 15. Good Accessibility Tool with AI Features, Though Some Manual Work Still Needed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant B. | Associate Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

When I first implemented UserWay on our website, I was amazed at how quickly it identified and automatically remediated many accessibility issues - things like missing alt text, color contrast problems, and keyboard navigation issues that would have taken our team weeks to find and fix manually.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

While the AI catches a lot of issues, we still need manual remediation for more complex accessibility problems. I initially thought it would handle everything automatically, but we still need manual work.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When stakeholders or clients ask about our accessibility practices, we can point to concrete metrics and improvements. The reporting helps us show we're proactively addressing these issues.

  ### 16. Top-notch customer service. Great free product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I’ve been using UserWay’s free accessibility widget for some time now, and it’s a great, easy-to-implement tool for improving website accessibility. The widget offers essential features like text adjustments, contrast modes, etc., all through a user-friendly interface. Installation was simple, and it fits seamlessly into my site design.

While the free version is somewhat limited compared to the paid plans, it’s an excellent starting point for any website looking to become more inclusive.

What stood out was UserWay’s outstanding customer service. Despite using the free version, I received fast, helpful, and friendly support.
Their team member Matheus went above and beyond, providing clear answers and quickly finding the solution I needed.

Overall, I highly recommend UserWay for its practical widget and exceptional support.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The price tags for paid options are too high for smaller businesses, in my opinion, as the cheapest paid plan costs $490 annually.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some accessibility features that benefit mine and my clients websites.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you've had a positive experience with our free accessibility widget and that it has been easy to implement on your website. We're also glad to hear that you found our customer service to be outstanding, and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Matheus. We understand your concern about the pricing of our paid options and appreciate your feedback on this matter.

  ### 17. Userway has great support staff and excellent WP widget

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafal S. | Front End Developer and Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

My client needed to do accessibility for their website as they have received a notice to comply. I contacted Userway for a demo, and Hayley has been with us every step of the way. We have set up and account for multiple websites and it is easy to install widgets on your wordpress sites. Kudos to Hayley and her support team.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

We find userway to be expensive for Canadian clients due to poor exchange rates, especially for smaller projects or smaller businesses with tight budgets. I do set up the free version in the meantime, though it does come with some limitations on key features. The free version at least does acknowledge that you are serious in setting up accessibility to your website.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is complying client website with the Canadian Accessibility Standards and AODA standards.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with UserWay and for acknowledging the support provided by Hayley and our team. We understand the concerns about pricing and exchange rates for Canadian clients, and we are committed to finding ways to address these challenges. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will use it to continue improving our services for all our customers.

  ### 18. Easy Accessiblity Widget to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

The UserWay accessibility widget is incredibly easy to implement—just a simple code snippet, and it's up and running. Integration with websites is seamless, working smoothly across different platforms without compatibility issues. The widget is user-friendly, requiring minimal setup while offering valuable accessibility features. I appreciate that it runs in the background without needing constant attention, making it a great set-and-forget solution. Perfect for improving website accessibility with minimal effort!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The 7-day trial process was concerning. My credit card had US$490 held, which was then charged, and at the end of the trial, another US$490 charge was attempted but failed. When I contacted support, they were very helpful and explained that this is the standard process for all free trial customers.

However, this approach may discourage potential customers, as it essentially results in being charged twice and only refunded after the trial ends. A more user-friendly model—where credit card details are taken but only charged if the trial isn’t canceled—would align better with industry standards and create a smoother experience for new users.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The UserWay accessibility widget helps our website stay compliant with minimal effort by automatically adjusting for WCAG, ADA, and other accessibility standards. Its seamless integration ensures an inclusive user experience without requiring extensive coding or manual updates. With its easy setup and automation, accessibility compliance is now effortless and efficient.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you found the UserWay accessibility widget user-friendly and valuable for improving website accessibility with minimal effort. We understand your concerns about the trial process and will work to create a smoother experience for new users. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

  ### 19. Great features!

UserWay has the most features compared to other accessibility widgets and its the easiest one to use, the feature that I use the most are the Smart Contrast and Bigger text, they work exceptionally well!

Also, the customer support is great, I've had a little issue where the translation feature was not working correctly and the support team helped me fix it in easy to follow steps, overall a great experience!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

So far, I haven't found any downsides to UserWay, everything works great.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me tremondously on sites where it's installed, as you can take advantage of its features to increase the text size, highlight links, block animations and much more, it provides me with an enjoyable experience when navigating the web.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're delighted to hear that you are satisfied with UserWay's features and customer support. It's great to know that our accessibility widget is providing you with an enjoyable experience when navigating the web. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us!

  ### 20. Great Accessibility Widget

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Tobacco | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I've been using the UserWay accessibility widget and so far, my experience has been very positive. The widget is simple to use, intuitive to configure, and was easy to install on my website. I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates and enhances accessibility.

By providing an easy-to-install and customizable accessibility widget, it ensures that my website is more inclusive and usable for everyone—regardless of their abilities.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you've had a positive experience with the UserWay accessibility widget! Thank you for highlighting its simplicity, intuitiveness, and seamless integration. ### 21. Great Solution For Agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah C. | Chief Operating Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay makes it very easy to integrate and customize this tool with WordPress websites.

Their support team is stuffed with people that are very knowledgeable with coding and websites. If the immediate chat support is unable to help, we've always had issues resolved by the next day.

Our account representative is extremely responsive and helpful. Every agency has a client or two that needs some sort of exception and that's where the representative comes in and saves the day.

UserWay is feature rich and works reliably. It's a quality solution that we can confidently offer to our clients to solve their accessibility concerns.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Sometimes UserWay breaks when your website uses performance improvement plugins for caching, code minification, etc. (WP Rocket, for example). For this, it is important to exclude the UserWay script from being optimized.

Sometimes other scripts can also conflict with UserWay, causing it to malfunction, show inaccurate colors, or just not show up at all. However, the UserWay support team has always been quick to help us identify and resolve these issues!

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers a web accessibility solution for our clients so they are less likely to receive litigation for ADA compliance. It also helps our clients' websites to be more user friendly, delivering a better experience than they would have without UserWay.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with UserWay. We're glad to hear that our support team has been responsive and helpful in addressing any issues you've encountered. We understand the importance of reliable accessibility solutions and are committed to providing a positive experience for our users.

  ### 22. Fast, reliable & knowledgable team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay made our accessibility integration quick and seamless. The platform is fast and easy to use, and the sales team was professional and friendly. Their technical support was also very responsive and efficient whenever we needed help.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

One limitation we encountered was that the solution couldn't be used on a staging environment. While this was a bit inconvenient during development, it seems to be a common restriction across the industry, as we couldn’t find other companies that offered it either.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a reliable accessibility solution for our website and platforms to meet both customer agreement requirements and legal accessibility standards.

  ### 23. Easy and fast, great customer service!

Ensuring all users can acccess my site, this is very imporant in my work as I am a neurodiversity coach, consultant and trainer.

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

As someone who had never used UserWay before, I had a lot of technical questions in regards to functionality. All my questions were responded to quickly and in a way that may sense. I honestly don't recall having received better customer service from anyone before.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

There really isn't anything to dislike. If I was to make a suggestion it would be to have more flexibility with where the basic UserWay icon and Language translator icon can be placed. It would be great to be able to have these in different locations rather then one on top of the other.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The language translator allows us to be more inclusive and reach a larger market.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We are thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with our customer service team! We strive to provide quick and helpful responses to all technical questions. Thank you for the suggestion regarding the placement of the UserWay icons, we will definitely take that into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 25. Great customer service and so happy with the fact my website is accessible now!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I've been searching for an accessibility plugin for my Framer site and today I came across another site with what I needed. I saw that it was by UserWay and found the free version. I immediately installed it as in an Embed section, thinking this was the right way. It didn't work. I could only find instructions for how to install on other platforms not Framer. That's where the customer help came in handy and Mark who helped me was super quick to respond and his instructions were very clear. It was then up and running in a few minutes. Very quick and so happy that people can now arrive on my site and adjust the settings to fit their needs. I've used it once on my site and now I'm wanting to install it on every client's website now and use it for client projects. Very easy too integrate on my site. Ticks all the boxes.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Nothing apart from the fact it's revealed some issues I need to sort. I guess the balance is how much you adapt your website for things like increased text sizes, but that's on me to think about from a UX perspective.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accessibility and making a wider audience able to see my website so they can view the products and services

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you had a positive experience with our customer service and that UserWay has made your website accessible. We strive to provide clear and quick support to all our users, and we're glad Mark was able to assist you effectively.

  ### 26. Userway is an add-on that is easy to implement, manage, and use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Enrique B. | Technical Support Engineer II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

To implement it is very easy, and you don't need much technical knowledge to configure it. Customer Support is really fast! Ease integration.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Some things, like the auto-renewal of subscriptions, should be optional, not mandatory.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is important to keep digital systems accessible to everyone, and this greatly helps in setting up and configuring your sites to welcome everyone.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find UserWay easy to implement and that it helps in making digital systems accessible to everyone. We appreciate your feedback about the auto-renewal of subscriptions and will consider it for future updates.

  ### 27. Life-Changer for Web Accessibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jansen C. | Senior Director of Web Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

The endless customization options available in the widget plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance on our clients websites. Our clients are always thrilled with the convinience and ease of use from the Userway widget. It's the perfect solutuon to cater to disabled consumers. The value of making their website accessible to all consumers is unmesearuable and provides great peace of mind for each of our clients.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The Wordpress plugin that comes with UserWay can be a little buggy from time to time. Sometimes our customization settings will reset back to the default ones if we set up the widget using the WordPress plugin. We have never had any issues setting up the Widget from within our Userway account dashboard though. I would definitely recommend not using the plugin and simply adding the embed code if you are a WordPress user for garaunteed reliability.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay is helping solve our website's accessibility compliance in the most efficient way possible. Instead of developing several ways within our site's theme to cater to different disabilities, the UserWay widget allows each of the site's vistors to customize their browsing experience with their own preferred settings.

  ### 30. It's magical!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keri C. | Curriculum Designer (and web developer), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

This software automatically does what web designers used to pay thousands of dollars to have done. Even taking time to diligently do all of the things (like alt image descriptions) during construction, we could only get to a 75% score. In a few hours the Pro widget had already increased it to 98%, in the backgroud.

It is very easy to implement and set up. It integrates nicely with the website and doesn't break anything (I tried a different plugin that broke my course pages). They even write the accessbility statement for you. And tech support is first rate! Quick response on a saturday morning!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The report lists things that need to be fixed, but not instructions on how to fix them. However, the report changes over time as AI continues to fix most of those things in the background, so it would only be an issue if AI couldn't fix something. And I know the excellent tech support would help me with it.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making my websites fully ADA compliant.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with UserWay! We're thrilled to hear that our software has helped you achieve a higher accessibility score and integrate seamlessly with your website. We appreciate your feedback regarding the report and will take it into consideration for future improvements. If you ever need assistance with fixing any accessibility issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our tech support team for guidance. We're glad to hear that UserWay is helping make your websites fully ADA compliant. If you have any further questions or feedback, feel free to contact us. Thank you for choosing UserWay!

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

Really easy to use
It was implemented quick
Really great customer support always available
Reports are very helpfull to do fixes on our end

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Nothing really everything works as expected

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We knew that our portal lacks accessibility features. And we were under time pressure to do something about it. Then we foud userway which was implemented fast and now we have time to do fixes on our side because uswerway is already enabling disabeled users to interact with our website without any problems.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're glad to hear that UserWay has been easy to use and that our customer support has been helpful for you. Thank you for your positive feedback!

  ### 32. A few hiccups setting up, but user support is excellent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Director of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay is pretty simple to set up. I had a few hiccups based on my own unfamiliarity with accessibility plugins on WordPress. But once I got past that, it was seamless. The best thing I can say about UserWay is their tech support chat feature. Companies always say, "We're here 24/7 for you," but these folks always respond to me within a few minutes and answer my questions directly and with links for more information. I can't ask for anything more than that. UserWay also has a ton of features -- some of which I will probably never use -- but I like that they seem to have thought of everything to make integration easier.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The only dislike I have is that there seem to be a lot of times when I have to upgrade to access features. I'd prefer it if there was something like a "personal plan" and a "business plan" and I can pay the higher fee for business and then have access to all the options. I had to purchase three separate upgrades overall which was not the end of the world, but also not convenient, especially when I have to get all expenses approved by our accounting department.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for an optometry school so making sure that all website users can access the site regardless of their vision limitation is very important to us. UserWay gives us the ability to make our clinic website truly accessible to all patients.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you found our tech support chat feature helpful and that you appreciated the seamless setup process. We understand your feedback about the upgrade process, and you can check UserWay.org/pricing for our new bundles. Thank you for choosing UserWay to ensure accessibility for all patients visiting your clinic website.

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Freelance web desinger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I was stuck on an issue transfering a website that used Userway from a client's old developer to my account. There seemed no way I could edit the button because the Userway plugin had injected code that I was struggling to remove. Thankfully Mark, from Userway helped me. He went out of his way to make sure everything was working just how I hoped. A very competant support tech.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

I just can't afford the pro package. If I was in a position to afford the pro package then I would jumo at the opportunity.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps people who are visually impaired access needed help, easily, in times of crisis. This is invaluable.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We are glad to hear that Mark was able to assist you with transferring the website and resolving the issue with the UserWay plugin. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to help.

  ### 34. UserWay customer service is top notch every time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheryl F. | Senior Manager, Digital Publishing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2023

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I had a technical issue with placing my Userway AI Widget on pages that were built in html streaming from a document library. The online chat not only solved my problem but waited while I validated the fix they suggested. I additionally contacted UserWay Support about an issue we were seeing with the Safari browser where the widget was conflicting with the loading of page content. The UserWay Support team contacted me to say: We have applied some major changes regarding on widget's remediation performance on the page when it's loaded using Safari. And just like that, my problem was fixed! Above and beyond my expectations.

This was just awesome customer service. UserWay is very easy to work with, knowledgeable about their product. They often will provide suggestions for how we can improve accessibility, create accessibility statements, and more.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

I like everything about working with UserWay. They solve problems and are really committed to both serving their customers and making their product better for the users who need it.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay boosts our compliance with accessibility guidelines and makes our site more accessible to all users. We see a high rate of usage with the widget so we know we are better serving our users with the placement of the widget.

**Official Response from Rodrigo Asai:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review.

  ### 35. I use the free version of UserWay for my 6 websites. I am a business owner, not a pro site builder.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Founder/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

It's easy to install (once you know how).
Customer service is very responsive and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Navigating their site and installation directions can be a little confusing if you don't do this regularly or are a professional. (I am a business owner who builds his own sites, not a professional website builder.)

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their plugin allows me to make my sites more accessible and keep them compliant.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you find our plugin easy to install and that it helps you make your sites more accessible and compliant. We are continuously working on making the installation process more user-friendly for all our customers.

  ### 36. UserWay is the Best Choice for ADA Compliance.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

Userway has fixed our websites 2A and 3A. The admin dashboard is super user-friendly. One thing I like most is the text-to-speech function in the pro version. Other competitors don't provide this feature in the pro version, either.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The only concern with Userway is after going with the pro version still does not provide 100% ADA compliance to our website currently they helping legal claims but are not 100%

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have resolved several issues related to 2A and 3AA by using UserWay.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that UserWay has been able to assist with your website's 2A and 3A issues. We appreciate your feedback on the user-friendly admin dashboard and the text-to-speech function in the pro version. We understand your concern about achieving 100% ADA compliance and we're dedicated to continually improving our services to better support your requirements.

  ### 37. Exceptional Tool for Accessibility Solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachana J. | Senior Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay has transformed the way I approach website accessibility. Their tools are user-friendly, efficient, and customizable, making it easy to ensure my websites are accessible to everyone. The integration process is seamless, and the level of support they provide is exceptional. The accessibility widget is particularly impressive, allowing for real-time adjustments and improvements without any hassle for end users.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

While UserWay's tools are highly effective, the extensive range of options might be overwhelming for businesses with more straightforward needs. However, this is a minor consideration given the substantial value and versatility they bring to accessibility solutions.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay effectively ensures website accessibility, helping meet WCAG standards and avoid legal risks.
UserWay simplifies the often costly and complex process of implementing accessibility through code.
Their tools make my site inclusive and improve user experience, leading to higher engagement.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with UserWay! We're thrilled to hear that our tools have transformed the way you approach website accessibility. We appreciate your feedback about the range of options and suggest reaching out to our Accessibility Consultants to get the right bundle for you. We're here to help!

  ### 38. I have been very impressed with the service from UserWay

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren T. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

My most used tool is the website scanner tool, mmy development team use this every day, its easy to use, and gives example code for developers to check and repair, scanning each week or as much as needed is great for our clients, as they are updating the websites so often and sometimes this causes ADA issues. The team really assist with ongoing customer support and the product intergration is easy!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

I do feel alittle bad saying this but I feel I should warn that having the UserWay widget is not a way to do nothing with you code, you should really be doing as much work as you can to make the website code correct, the widget is a tool that helps but does not fix everything, I would not like developers to install the tool and expect a magic tool that beens you are not going to be sued. The scanning tool is perfect, and currently the best part of whats offered.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is mostly used to check code on both live and staging websites to monitor our websites to identify areas that need developers to check and fix as needed.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We appreciate your honest feedback and understand the importance of clarifying the capabilities of our widget. While it is a helpful tool, we agree that it is not a substitute for ensuring correct website code. We will continue to emphasize the importance of proper code maintenance.

  ### 39. Placing the UserWay widget on our site greatly simplified meeting accessibility guidelines

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

Our site was getting complaints about not meeting accessibility guidelines and thus we started a big effort to address all those concerns and be shielded from legal liability. UserWay was a quick and simple way to address a part of those items by simply placing their widget on our site pages. Having the ability to programmatically incorporate the widget and also affect actions by using their API was very helpful. Whenever I had a question I was able to either find help or access their chat and get the answers I needed to not be interrupted and get the job done. Their chat was even available at off-hours and with zero wait! Mark was super helpful on the chat and even took the time to write soem code and provide it in the chat and via email to save me time, which I appreciated.
We have plans to do more with UserWay to take advantage of their Accessibility Monitor and Audit features as well.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

We haven't had any problems with UserWay or their services so far. Any issues were quickly solved using their support system.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay assists in making our site accessible to a wider range of the population, specifically in our area - healthcare - where many of our patients are elderly, handicapped in one way or another, or possibly not english-speakers. By having their Widget on our site it solves many of these exact issues. Having the ability to customize the widget with our own branding and colors is very helpful, and having many options on how to place it in various locations, or hide it on specific pages is critical to keeping the design of our site within our specifications and standards. UserWay also provides very good support, documentation and tools to achive our goals of meeting accessibility requirements.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're so pleased to hear that UserWay has been instrumental in helping you address accessibility concerns and meet guidelines on your site. It's great to know that our widget and API were easy to incorporate and that our support team, especially Mark, provided timely and helpful assistance. We're looking forward to continuing to support your accessibility efforts with our Accessibility Monitor and Audit features.

Providing an accessible customer website. Userway helps us find and fix errors.
