The pricing for the lowest tier -- $49/month for websites with less than 1,000 web pages -- is fair considering the value you receive. That includes the AccessWidget for on-demand web accessibility, a generated Accessibility Statement for the website, and automatic monthly compliance reports. **What do you dislike about accessiBe?** Their higher tier pricing is 3x as expensive, which many websites will fall into (1,001 to 10,0000 web pages). Also, the AccessWidget only enacts compliance if the website visitor selects/activates it; otherwise, the website remains non-compliant **at it's core** and thus may remain open to potential lawsuits. **What problems is accessiBe solving and how is that benefiting you?** We now require all clients for which we build websites and digital products to utilize the AccessibeWidget as their first option for web accessibility conformance. If clients do not want it, they must provide written notification by the CEO/president that they indemnify us, their digital agency, from future legal matters. Super simple setup, customizable & brandable. And of course, an invaluable feature to have for those who need it. Set it and forget it. I like that all of the accessibility statements it generates on your behalf are created by/vetted/kept up to date by attorneys in the field. Having these pages automatically update the terms as needed is helpful and eliminates any required maintenance to keep your website's accessibility up to date. **What do you dislike about accessiBe?** I have no complaints. As far as affecting page performance, it only added 171 KiB in transfer size for the js code. This is without any optimization efforts. So I really have nothing negative to say. Accessibe solves the website accessibility compliance issue in one simple solution and keeps itself up to date without any manual work necessary. This is a big challenge on some platforms due to them not all being open source. This has been a great help for the platform we primarily work with (Wild Apricot). **What do you dislike about accessiBe?** I can't think of anything specific in regards to the functionality. As a partner, the biggest downside is that there is no way to email the invoice to potential clients via a white labeled email. This makes things a bit cumbersome as this means you have to provide them with login credentials and instructions on how to activate their account. **What problems is accessiBe solving and how is that benefiting you?** The platform we primarily work with is Wild Apricot and it does not allow you to fully edit the source code. It's above and beyond any of the generic plugins out there and I like that they continue to invest in the technology AND continue to work with the disabled community to improve their product. **What do you dislike about accessiBe?** Native compliance is still the standard for creating an accessible website, so while it covers most of the important aspects, there is certainly still some pieces that are likely missing. Additionally, using layers on a site can create usability and SEO issues, however I feel like they continue to address these issues with each new release. **What problems is accessiBe solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have a lot of clients that want to be inclusive and also limit their liability with regard to potential disability lawsuits. The widget seems pretty great on my personal portfolio website so far, (although I've run into a few issues regarding sufficient alt text for gallery images). I'm happy with my account manager – she's been extremely helpful in getting accessiBe set up and installed on a variety of my website design client's websites, as well as addressing their needs and questions. **What do you dislike about accessiBe?** I wish it was a bit more affordable – accessiBe costs more annually than Squarespace does, which is what I use to design websites for myself & my web design clients. They require no commitments or extra costs to get started, which is almost unheard of these days in software. Since I started, I've recommended them to many other designers and agencies. It's not scary to start since there are no contracts. Their software does what it says, making us look amazing as a design agency. I'll continue using them as long as they maintain this level of excellence. **What do you dislike about accessiBe?** Nothing! We love everything about the accessible software! I think they could improve on their agency referral program since we haven't gotten a bonus for the last one we recommended though. **What problems is accessiBe solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helped my clients become ADA-compliant and has reduced our development time as web designers.
