I chose EZRentOut because it lets you have options for your forms and email templates. I also like how it tracks inventory and lets me know when I don't have an item available to rent. Also, the ability to "copy the URL" and paste it into the email chain you are using is fantastic! And then that link always goes to the most updated version of the Quote! Another thing I like is the ability to import so many different things! Moving from the platforms we were using to bring it all into one platform has been made much easier because of the ability to import customers and order details.

I am used to addresses being listed by company name for business or last name for individual. The only way to make the individual show up as expected is to list them as Last Name, First Name in the address title, such as Doe, John or as Last Name Residence like Doe Residence.

Also, I would like to have "venue" addresses. We use a few locations for many events, and I have to create the shipping address again for each of the events. (I have shared this with support - I think they are working on how that would be functional with the delivery aspects).

It would also be nice to be able to "see" what the customer sees when they get a link. I am usually just guessing as to what they need to do next to move things along. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use, ease of implementation, and trainability. We use EZRentOut daily. As a charity, we have many volunteers that help us check in inventory and check out customers. Many of them have remarked about how easy it is to use. After the mobile update we've been able to use an iPad to make inventory managment a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integrating can be a challenge with certain platforms. For example, our Square card reader has issues swiping card instead of keying in the information manually. Also, there are so many options that the settings menus can be a little daunting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am new to it so still learning. Do not want to critique system until I'm finsihed learning. One thing I would change is recurring orders automatically close out and starts new rental. I would like to be able to close that out myself so I don't miss sending this to AP. Go ahead and start new order but leave old one pending so I can manually close out. Has a lot of different cababilities and the ability to customize it to your needs. The reports are endless. The UI Interface is easy to use and there is more than one way to do the same task in most instances. implementation was easy and almost seamless. It's a little clunky. Reports aren't the easiest to create. It could really use some AI integration to achieve what you want to do more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an admin, I found adding duplicate items with different serial numbers fairly easy and certainly saved me some time. We dont utilize all of the options, but as the asset system grows, I can see the benefit of having all of the options.

I also like the ease of retiring/reactivation of assets, and that retiring does not delete the asset. The more compliant we can be with 21 CFR Part 11 the better as it instills quality, even in asset management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there was a way to sort/filter easier by the asset identification number. We assign our own ID number the the business prefix, and unfortunately it seems the only way to sort is by the EZ rentout assigned Asset #. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
