I also like how it tracks inventory and lets me know when I don't have an item available to rent. Also, the ability to "copy the URL" and paste it into the email chain you are using is fantastic! And then that link always goes to the most updated version of the Quote! Another thing I like is the ability to import so many different things! Moving from the platforms we were using to bring it all into one platform has been made much easier because of the ability to import customers and order details. I have found the support to be pretty awesome as well. They definitely listen to the end user, and update or improve how things work as we move along. **What do you dislike about EZRentOut?** I am used to addresses being listed by company name for business or last name for individual. The only way to make the individual show up as expected is to list them as Last Name, First Name in the address title, such as Doe, John or as Last Name Residence like Doe Residence. Also, I would like to have "venue" addresses. We use a few locations for many events, and I have to create the shipping address again for each of the events. (I have shared this with support - I think they are working on how that would be functional with the delivery aspects). It would also be nice to be able to "see" what the customer sees when they get a link. I am usually just guessing as to what they need to do next to move things along. **What problems is EZRentOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to provide a quote for a customer to sign and/or pay online; ability to track rented equipment; ability to be reminded payments are due; ability to create a calendar of events for others to see. Last year was the first full year of using the system. It improved how quickly we turned orders around, received payments and then were able to print up a Pick List. ### 2. We use EZRentOut daily. As a charity, we have many volunteers that help us check in inventory and check out customers. Many of them have remarked about how easy it is to use. After the mobile update we've been able to use an iPad to make inventory managment a lot easier. **What do you dislike about EZRentOut?** Integrating can be a challenge with certain platforms. For example, our Square card reader has issues swiping card instead of keying in the information manually. Also, there are so many options that the settings menus can be a little daunting. **What problems is EZRentOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our charity takes donations of medical equipment from those that don't need it anymore and we give them away for free. We need to track the items that come in, show what is avaiable for our customers, display that info on our website, and check items out when they are taken. Do not want to critique system until I'm finsihed learning. One thing I would change is recurring orders automatically close out and starts new rental. I would like to be able to close that out myself so I don't miss sending this to AP. Go ahead and start new order but leave old one pending so I can manually close out. Also would like customers to not get emails everytime I mess with an order. The reports are endless. The UI Interface is easy to use and there is more than one way to do the same task in most instances. implementation was easy and almost seamless. We dont utilize all of the options, but as the asset system grows, I can see the benefit of having all of the options. I also like the ease of retiring/reactivation of assets, and that retiring does not delete the asset. The more compliant we can be with 21 CFR Part 11 the better as it instills quality, even in asset management. **What do you dislike about EZRentOut?** I wish there was a way to sort/filter easier by the asset identification number. We assign our own ID number the the business prefix, and unfortunately it seems the only way to sort is by the EZ rentout assigned Asset #. **What problems is EZRentOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not applicable at this time. ### 11. They don't have great communication with changes. One example is our SSL certificate was going to expire with the price increasing 70%. There was no request to respond, deadline, or warning. The rental site just stopped working. It took them some time to fix it. It was something simple that could easily have been avoided, and it heavily impacted business. This feature is critical when you are in a rush to get your client's proposal out fast. While working on other production company's order systems in the past, you could or would lose critical information if you forgot to click save or had connectivity issues. **What do you dislike about EZRentOut?** I think the search function can be more simplified. I know this can be rectified by inputting proper inventory, but I feel the process could be just a touch easier. Also, a floating search function while scrolling would be awesome - instead of having to scroll back up to the top of the order to input. **Recommendations to others considering EZRentOut:** I recommend EZRentOut to any company, big or small! The interface is easy to use and doesn't need much instruction. **What problems is EZRentOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem I have been solving is my time! Orders are simplified and placed in itemized line items quickly and easily read or deciphered to my clients. Whenever I have a new customer to add into a system, it takes less than a minute. **What do you dislike about EZRentOut?** One of my biggest pet peeves when using EZrentout is when I want to clone an asset, it can be pretty annoying because I first have to clone the asset, and then afterward, I need to edit then to add the ID number. I would really appreciate if there was an update that allowed me to add an ID number at the same time as cloning an asset. **What problems is EZRentOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** EZRentOut helps be able to track all the inventory that our equipment room along with creating orders that are very easy to track via the QR codes and downloadable pdfs. The email feature is great because it allows to send neccessary messages to those who are overdue. ### 28. If the storefront itself could be a little more visually customizable, that could be a great enhancement to user experience, but the overall functionality works great. **What problems is EZRentOut solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're solving the issue of being able to customize rental kits for audio, visual, and lighting equipment. The bundles are a great feature for our product offering - we rent plastic moving boxes. Standard rental period is 2 weeks that we can easily extend. Each bundle includes multiple sizes of boxes. The custom entry feature allows us to override and adjust the rental so I know there is always an easy way to include special situations (we include longer rental periods for free if the customer rents one of our larger storage containers). **What do you dislike about EZRentOut?** I have spoken at length the development team about adding addition functionality so we can use EZRentout for our main business - portable storage container rentals. The main shortcoming is the lack of a simple clean process to show all transactions on a single report - we work with insurance companies and they need to see a consolidated report of all charges (many months of rent, delivery charges, pick up charges).
