I've had a great experience with GuideCX so far! GuideCX makes managing projects easier and more effecient.
The User Interface (UI) in GuideCX is smooth and navigation is very easy! I like the fact that there doesn't need to be a lot of time spent managing the system as it does most of the work for you through automations. I've personally used a lot of project management tools like Microsoft Project, Asana and Trello. These platforms don't come close to what is offered by GuideCX in terms of automation in the system and ease of project worklow.
There is work needed at the beginning of the project to configure and assign users to the team. Most my time spent in the system is mainly for marking tasks as complete or adding client notes in the system. We personally use Salesforce as well at our company and the notes carry over with integration, this is used through a company called Zapier.
In my opinion, here are the pros of using the platform:
- Easy of automation (email notifications) - time is saved not having to create emails and allows for time to be focused on other project items.
- Project Plan(s) - It's very easy to see where the progress of a project is currently and makes updating projects smooth.
- Completing project tasks - Marking a project task as complete in the system is very easy! I really like going into the system and marking tasks as complete it gives me satisfaction (must be a project manager thing)
I would personally recommend GuideCX to those who need a client onboarding and project management tool. The app has greatly benefited our company and the way we do business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much not to like about this platform; however, there are a few items I've shared with their product team which would make the product even better.
A few of those proposed ideas were the following:
- Create a Kanban Board view when you first login into the system that allows you to see progress for all projects
- The timeline view is too complicated, in my opinion - I've used Microsoft Project in the past, and they do a better job on this type of layout
- Allow users to modify the project plan and add additional tasks instead of creating new action items. Also, if possible, allow for the ability to create sub-tasks within the project plan itself.
- I'd also like a way to increase client enagagement in the GuideCX portal itself - not to many clients are interested in accessing the project portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
