It has helped me to organize my projects and clearly define what needs to be done, who needs to do it, and when it needs to be done, without having to chase down any communication, as well as keeping all of that communication in one place. Once set up, it has been very easy to use and tweak as I improve our process, and Shaun at GUIDEcx as well as their support team have been quick to respond to any questions I've had. I wouldn't consider it a downside, just a necessity to be prepared for: depending on what kind of project(s) you have and the granularity of detail you have in your tasks, it can be a pretty lengthy job to get your schema set up. However, again, it is a necessary part of it, and while it can take some time, it is also helpful to look at your projects under a microscope to better define them and then tweak them.
