Sadly, the full value of PerfectIt isn't available to Mac users, as its robust customization features don't work on Macs. The tool also tends to hang up/spin/crash, meaning standard scans can take far longer than they should. And there are some weird glitches, like it stopping on things like "Mr." (with the period) to inform you that "Mr." takes a period in American English. Despite the frustration that accompanies those drawbacks, I wouldn't think of canceling my subscription. The calendar interface isn't very intuitive. It tries to pull meeting details from emails automatically, but I found the experience confusing, I gave up on it after about five to ten minutes of trying to use it. The impact is that I don't use Superhuman for scheduling at all, I fall back to a separate calendar tool for that, which means I'm managing two systems instead of one. A clearer, more guided flow for confirming or editing the details it pulls from an email would go a long way.

The AI auto-respond feature also needs work. Drafting and rewriting emails with AI works well, but auto-respond only seems to look at the most recent message in a thread rather than the full context of the conversation. The impact is that its suggested responses are sometimes off-base or miss something earlier in the thread, so I have to double-check and rewrite them anyway, which cuts into the time savings the feature is supposed to provide. Before using Superhuman, keeping track of follow-ups across a large number of contacts with different response times and communication styles was hard to manage consistently. Now, the Scheduler helps me choose the right time to send a given email based on who I'm reaching, which has cut down on the guesswork and missed timing that used to slow things down.

We also struggled with the sheer volume of repetitive email during high-output stretches, at one point I was sending close to a thousand emails in a short period. Snippets solved that by letting me reuse templated responses instead of writing each one from scratch, which made that volume manageable instead of overwhelming. The keyboard shortcuts for deleting, categorizing, and marking emails done have also sped up day to day inbox management, so I spend less time on triage and more time on the actual work.

On top of that, performance has been reliable even under heavy use, and the Claude integration fits into how I already work rather than requiring a separate workflow.
