Even though it supports a variety of extensions that make it possible to code anything that you want to, it is still not that good as there are no in-built compilers. But the most painful thing I experience is that sometimes the keyboard shortcuts stop working. It has been a reported issue, I guess, and I see that many people experience it. I am not sure if it is just with the M1 Macs.

What I like the most about Vscode is that it is very lightweight, fast, and open source. Being a Full Stack Web Developer, I heavily rely on Vscode because of its features like it supports many languages like python, js, PHP, etc., and it provides syntax highlighting for all these languages while we are programming. I personally use it daily for my personal use and for my company as well. The best thing about it, in my opinion, is its terminal by which you can install any packages for your project and integrate it using npm or yarn anything which suits you. It has a wide array of plugins/ extensions in the marketplace that can be integrated with the desired programming language.
