What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Almost Everything. I have used it for several different languages like JavaScript and TypeScript. Presently I am using it for Angular.

Intellisense is a fantastic feature it has. And will continue to use it forever. Its alsi come with a dark theme and many exciting extensions to fall in love with. This is one such editor I can use for long working hours and still won't get tired because of its engaging nature. It also features an integrated terminal where in you can execute all the commands that you generally execute in command prompt. I tend to use Angular CLI extensively hence I constantly need such features just to make my life easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Well, there is nothing much to dislike. I would rather say there can be many more mind-boggling features hidden in it, which I might not have explored yet. But from my experience, I haven't come across anything to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would highly recommend it to all beginners and experienced professionals to use it at least once in your career because I am sure you won't find a similar and equally efficient text editor in the market. I am developing Angular-based Web Apps for my company, designing one of the best compliance verification software. VSCode has boosted the team's productivity and has also reduced the time to market our product significantly. It has helped us to improve the code quality and security due to its integrations with code analyzers such as SonarLint. Me and my team tend to write code for one feature and at time work independently on mutiple features. So we need to use version control systems like GitHub. And VSCode just seamlessly integrates with GitHub and I have never felt any issues when pushing my code to GitHub. Visual Studio Code is the number one choice when working on an angular application. It has several themes, extension tools for fast development, its easy to debug using debugging shortcuts, can go to code references by pressing shortcuts without navigation and finding files manually. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There should be a feature like Visual Studio 2017 to navigate to previous/ history code lines. It can save time by not finding the last five changes manually. Also, sometime it's difficult to navigate to recent and opened tabs; there should be a horizontal scroll at the top tab bars.
