"Vs Code is best editor ever."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

* It helps us write code without errors.

* It also helps us with building and testing code on the fly and deploying code locally.

* It's better than any other paid or free IDE/Text Editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

* Yes, there were some bugs in the previous release, but now those are fixed.

* I didn't find any problem with using VSCode.‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Experience of using VS Code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Integrated terminal. File Manager system inline. Ability to get code recommendations using extensions. Ability to build our own extensions. Integrated debugging with the ability to alter flow at runtime. Great shortcuts to add multiple cursors in one editor. Also awesome search and replace across multiple files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It can become very slow if we add many extensions. We cant split a window onto multiple monitors. Difficult to configure settings. You need to remember the parameters well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool with lot of plugins"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Vscode is user-friendly and quite powerful. Anyone can use it as it supports most of the language, even SQL. The best part its free to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It's a pretty heavy software, so if you have a less configuration system, the VScode might lag a bit which is kind of frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Code Editor in existence!"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VSCode's ability to serve experienced or inexperienced users alike with the power of auto-complete extensions and edit files flawlessly, be it of any code language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The editor itself, on installation of a couple of extensions, gets bulky and auto-complete starts lagging, especially on low-end devices.

And the inability to recover undo-stacks of files after the editor is restarted is missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One Of best editor easy to use"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The first thing I like is multiple language support.

So you can switch any language using a simple dropdown.

You can easily add any extension.

One of them is git integration is very powerful.

IDE is mighty, and you can easily switch any theme.

You can easily open your project with the directory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Honestly, Overall, everything is perfect.

I primarily work with ruby and rails, so best editor for me.

Also familiar with the sublime editor, but I prefer to visual studio code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All in one Developer Tool "VS Code""
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It is my favorite code editor, and it comes up with a rich set of features that makes web development easy. What I like about visual studio code is that it has a wide range of extensions that add up additional functionality to the code editor. Its wings make visual studios perform the language-specific task without using any other application. As a developer, I mainly use HTML, CSS, React, Javascript extensions for my projects.

It has a simple, user-friendly UI, and also it has several themes so users can choose from it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

To be honest, I don't have anything to complain about visual studio code. Microsoft perfectly builds it, and it's completely free. What can you expect more? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for all front end works"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

1. Ease of project development

2. Suggestions for various plugins including gitLense, prettier, plugin cost,

3. Build creation is easy

4. User-friendly IDE

5. Inbuild terminal to execute commands

6. Live sharing of files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

1. It does not act as a very good tool when it comes to solving file conflicts.

2. Just for this one feature, I always jump on to the IntelliJ idea, otherwise, VS code will be awesome.

3. VS code also lacks the ability to show file history like IntelliJ ideas can provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
