Main things I dislike are all of the telemetry stuff which is enabled by default, and it's not perfectly clear that it's there and how to disable it. If I remember correctly, you need it disable it in two locations, which is a pain. I've also noticed more and more resource usage over the years, but it is still acceptable for now. If I have to think about some downsides then I would say :

This is an extremely amazing code editor with tons of features, I have mainly used for web development, so it's perfect to create projects using HTML, CSS and JS.
