"Visual Studio code !! Best lightweight IDE"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Support for many languages that are new in the business like solidity. Also in built support for Javascript and other languages is there. Automatic code generation is also great. Since it is available for free, this product is totally worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

You have to download plugins everytime you want to code for a different language if it is not the native language. Also support for C/C++ is not there, you will need visual studio for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent IDE very similar to Atom"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Excellent Typescript support, which we use heavily. Had started using Atom but like this better. Love all the plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes plugins that aren't working properly can bog it down. Sometimes it doesn't recompile the TS properly for finding libs and you have to manually reload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Editor for front end applications"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

This editor is the best thing for mostly the front end development. It has many best features like debugging, side by side editing, Intellisense code completion, language support etc. It is easy to download and install. The syntax highlighting helps a lot in coding. Command palette is one of the most powerful utilities of this Editor. I have installed this for developing the angular 4 projects, which becomes more ease to code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There are no problems facing with this editor. I think execution should be simpler in this editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
