What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It is an editor with which I can write my code without problems and is compatible with almost any programming language, has integrations that facilitate work, it is also lightweight and I can run it on almost any operating system, plus something I like is that I can download Excensions of which the majority are free. What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It's a great text editor with very easy to use features. I like the fact it's very much customizable so that I can change the theme, fonts, add specific plugins for languages supports and all. I love the extensions/plug-ins that you can download for the code editor. It is highly customizable and there's really no downsides to it. The app is light-weight and it can be executed in a little amount of time. I see almost all my co-workers using this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's nothing to dislike about this. It's literally the best code editor I've used. The design is sleek and pleasing to the eyes. The set-up is pretty intuitive as well. Recommendations to others considering Visual Studio Code:

Honestly, I don't think I even need to recommend it to someone else because chances are, he/she is already using it. It's pretty difficult to meet a software engineer/programmer that does NOT use visual studio code. It is literally the best one to use. I'm grateful for the fact that this editor is completely free. It has no downsides to it. What truly makes this product though is the extensions feature. It allows support for basically all programming languages and it even allows for a built-in terminal! I use Visual Studio Code to do all my coding for work. I work as a Software Engineer, so I essentially use Visual Studio Code every day. The business benefit I have experienced when using Visual Studio Code, is that I don't need to make a new project to keep track of a development task, and instead I open the folder with Microsoft Visual Studio Code and it automatically loads it as a project.
