"Use it with Xdebug."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I was stumped at how PHP errors were landing on my drupal-Linux installation. No error was easy to debug. Understood a Windows Installation with VS Code/Xdebug and voila, it was a great experience. Debugging was to the fullest power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I am not of the interest to download binaries and deploy them into individual folders each time i require debugging capabilities. Too tedious. this was my experience with Drupal/PHP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intelligent and versatile code editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

As a programmer I use this editor because it has many tools that others do not have, its autocomplete is intelligent and gives you very good suggestions when writing, it also has support for the most popular programming languages on the market, plus you can install add-ons very easily to extend them the functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It does not always find the syntax errors quickly, besides it did not find the option to be able to change the language in an easy way, another disadvantage is that it is a bit slow when it starts for the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight code editor for web developement"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Personally what I like about Visual Studio Code is that it is the lightweight and fast code editor for web app development. It provides good support for javascript frameworks like Angular and NodeJS. Another thing which I like is the number of extensions which helped me in writing the application better and faster way. It has very good support of database integration like sqlite db. Moreover, it has built-in Git support which has been very very useful if you are working on large organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Debugging the application could have been better. Sometimes it becomes difficult to debug the application as it requires some configuration which is clumsy process. But it is not something I cannot live with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best IDE for Coders in Software development - Visual Studio Code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VS Code is Free and cross-platform software to help coders to write code to develop software. I like its features like builtin debugging of software program, code auto-completion, and suggestion. It also comes with an inbuilt terminal in the same platform, not need to switch between different windows. I really like this when I am coding in Javascript and Typescript, it automatically suggests the valid function can apply with. Also, third-party plugins and extensions easily integrated. Prettier helps organize code and automatic indentation. One great thing, live server, no need to refresh the browser for any change in code. Save a lot of time. A full-featured IDE for Coder but it some time lag may be it require a specific amount of Hardware configuration. Overall It is great Products by Microsoft. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
