"great editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The interface is actually typical and simple for Microsoft and may be utilized on all OS, like Linux, Macos. and windows It's superb encoding and auto filling capabilities. Additionally, it combines well with GH, which enables it a really comprehensive and even more user friendly editor. I also love it's quite simple and usually updated. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Occasionally it is a bit of tough to locate syntax mistakes and I'd issues with debugging because the configuration is actually a bit confusing, though a large community of owners with Visual Studio code helped me in this particular regard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A code editor compatible with many programming languages"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

This editor is very complete with several tools and compatible with many programming languages, among other things the program also has syntax highlighting divided by colors to make editing easier, among the editing tools it has those necessary for different languages and programs, such as code insertion, the preview, the option to run the program, or the terminal options to run the program in different ways, all depending on the language used and can even be focused on the design of websites since the same program is very versatile, where in this case it gives us the preview option to see designs in the browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The program is very complete but I would only add the option of preview in real time when working on the web design site since this helps a lot as if it were another way of detecting errors apart from the one that already has the same program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best editor for coding APIs"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It's really intuitive to use with network API elements like Netconf and Restconf since it has a great native GIT integration and python-support. I started using this since all the DevNet tutorials used Visual Studio Code but now I migrated from Pycharm after some years of using it just because of the convenience of having exactly the same tools and setup as the tutorials.

Another thing I love is how light it is, it can run in my 10 year old laptop that I use to test minimal configurations with even less ram than Pycharm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I don't do a lot of auto imports but it's a known issue that its auto-import isn't the best. Just try a different editor if that's what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It makes your job easier when you have extensions that make your code more readable and syntax that allows you to easily reuse code in other parts of the project. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I dislike the amount of resources Visual Studio Code takes up with my computer, often slowing it down. However the ease of work environment is an okay trade off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Vscode features"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

If we talk in detail there are many features. The software consists of fully loaded programming language supported modules, editors, formats and interpreters. It has a multiscreen feature that helps to work on different files simultaneously. These features and components are the major methods that will help reduce human effort and time. Visual Studio Code can also be used for projects in key industries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Using it for a long time does not really show me much difficulty in using it or any major bug or issue. Minor changes need to be made to increase its efficiency. Sometimes this indicates an environment mismatch even when not installed with Anaconda. Also a lot of RAM is required to fully load which makes it difficult to run on older systems.
