"A great editor with minor inconsistencies across operating systems"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is fast and highly extendable with a beautiful UI. I like that it feels complete with a clean install; little to no configuration is necessary to start writing code in Javascript or Typescript in an easy UI. I am impressed with how it can be extended to support most languages and tools needed for debugging, linting, etc. The pool of extensions is large, and most of the recommended extensions have been relatively well-made. I was pleased to find a functional Perforce (version control) extension, which made it easy to integrate VS Code with my company's work-flow. Keymaps are seemingly endlessly customizable, and there is a plethora of online documentation to quickly understand features. The auto-complete feature is the most usable I have used in any editor or IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It is to be expected, but I have found a few inconsistencies across each operating system I've used it in (Windows, Ubuntu, Mac). Some extensions that fully work in Windows only partially work in Ubuntu/Mac and vice versa. Extensions related to keymaps seem to be particularly susceptible to this. What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

every time i used Visual Studio Code. i always fall into love with it. this the fastest and fluent code editor i have ever seen and ever used. the light weight of the software makes it more useful and grate optimized to all user. in Visual Studio Code i mostly use to code php and all database related works. the plugins of the Visual Studio Code are the best thing to me. i use many plugins in Visual Studio Code. al those helps me to code easily and the auto complete system with extension is grate. sometimes, i forget some codes and Visual Studio Code helps me to write them and also helps me to find out which is wrong. which is also super & best thing for me. so over all i must say Visual Studio Code is a fantastic code editor. and useful to all developer and normal user. "The best IDE out there"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The upsides of using Visual studio code is first of all its free of cost. Has a very nice and pretty user interface and you can customise it as per your needs. You can choose from a number of themes and set the one that best suites you. It is very much easy to use and even you stuck anywhere you can find the solution very easily as a lot a people use this. And the most important feature that I like about visual studio code is suggestion ,it supports almost every language and the suggestion makes it pretty much more easy to code. You can add extensions to speed up your workflow, You can also add boilerplates to not write same codes every time that code will be just a key away. It is recommend by a lot of people and I also have feel that it is the best IDE for web developers out there. And also it is supported in all the platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There is nothing that I dislike about visual studio code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
