"Great code editor for working with APIs"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It is really well integrated with the things I need to do while working with APIs either by reading code or testing it via the integrated console, my favorite part is that is not necessary to use external debugging tools since they are totally integrated with Visual Studio and lowers my mental load by not needing to switch tabs or tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

As a security geek myself it bothers that you need to dig into the settings to disable the telemetry, personally I don't even care about it since my company uses Microsoft products heavily it doesn't make any real difference to my current work setup, but if I cared a lot more about not sending telemetry like some of my friends do it would be the first thing I do. It's a turn off that is hard to disable it it an otherwise amazing program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
