What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

We use Visual studio for c#, but it supports several languages. This is one of the best IDE i worked on. It has C#, VB, C++ all language support. You can easily debug the code and also can analyze the code and bugs.

Syntax errors can be easily detected in visual studio code. Its very difficult to check the definition of functions or check the origin, but visual studio code gives the reference which makes life so easy. you can just click on reference to check the details of the function. Also, performance wise, its really fanatatic. You can also integrate it with other extensions like TFS( team foundation server), SQL connector. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It will be great help if we can have some inbuilt test harness tools. Especially to test web service or control jobs together.

When you install some plugins or extensions, it ask you to install 2 3 before it allows you the one you want. Its something it needs some mandatory installations before installing the exact one.

-The best thing in visual studio is supported by almost useful programming languages.

-Easy to detect the error or compile the code

-When I shifted from windows os to ubuntu, initially faced difficulty using the Microsoft coding as C#, then I found visual code is supported in Linux also, I felt happy.
