"Visual Studio Code - One stop solution for Developers"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Microsoft Visual Studio Code is Truly a fantastic IDE for Developers. Earlier, I have used some other IDE's too, but when I shifted to VS Code, it was the Best Experience. I have been using VS Code from the First Year when I've started Coding. It has some Superb extensions like ES6, ES7 React-redux, Autorename, Coderunner, Java Extension Pack, Prettier, Live server, and so on. It's like one in all, an IDE where multiple languages like (C++, Python, Java, Ruby, C#) all languages are Compatible. And one thing that, Dark theme. Dark mode theme helps me to code day & night. Its Installation is also effortless and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I don't think there is anything to dislike VS Code. But yeah, sometimes it takes too long to run the Port from the terminal. It mostly Happens in React-redux and angular. And Compilation process is a little bit longer. Otherwise, no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VS Code: Best code editor for working across multiple languages"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I like Visual Studio Code because it is a powerful, full-fledged yet lightweight IDE. It has integrated git which is really beneficial for me as I can maintain versions of my work right from the editor window. The extensions marketplace has hundreds of useful extensions to make my work easy. It supports development across multiple languages and has IntelliSense extensions that can be easily installed to get help in software development work, like code snippets and to find syntax errors. Also, the IDE is updated by Microsoft on a monthly basis through regular updates, which is an excellent thing as it adds on new features everytime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Although I didn't find any major issue in the past three years of experience with VS code, one thing I don't like is that sometimes Intellisense fails to identify errors in my code. Also, the UI can be confusing for a new user which can be simplified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for working for REACT application"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It gives auto solutions and a very user-friendly setup to use and Build the JS applications

used to build the JS application for REACT. It is an excellent tool to edit the code and test on the fly. The suggestions within the code to fix it is also constructive and help the coder a lot if there is a code break and track the changes within the code is the best, so you will know where all the changes happened in the code and files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes when deploying the code and running, it does not keep the JS loaded, so it needs to load the JS every time, like node.js, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code - An Amazing IDE"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is one of my favorite Code Editors which I've ever worked on. One thing I like about it is the Dark Theme. Since College time, I have started using VS Code. It has some excellent extensions like Code Runner, Babel Javascript, ES6 react-redux, Prettier, Live Server, and many more. Currently, I am working in the industry. It requires a Huge amount of Code to write, which becomes Perfectly fine with VS Code. Its Multiple Colours of code look too good.

Overall it's a fantastic IDE for Developers and Programmers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

One thing I dislike about it, that whenever we try to set up the React.js installation and then running it into Port 3000, it takes too much time. And one more thing that, Debugging features is not that great which we expect it to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A handy tool to clone your code from on prem to cloud and vice versa"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

We can easily search our code components as we can search for a specific procedure. We need to only type a keyword then it will show all procedures that contain the specific keyword. Besides this, we can use this for version control. We can save our code in the cloud and clone it from on premises. The code will be automatically updated if we changed our cloned code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I did not find anything bad about visual studio code. It is a very handy software easy to use and learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
